Shiwe Octovia Nogwanya (also Nongwanya; born 7 March 1994) is a South African football striker. She plays for Bloemfontein Celtic and the South Africa women's national football team. Playing career Nongwanya was called up to the senior national team in February 2013 in preparation for the 2013 Cyprus Cup. She made her first appearance for the team during the tournament. Kroonstad
Kroonstad (Afrikaans directly translated "Crown City") is the third largest city in the Free State (after Bloemfontein and Welkom) and lies two hours' drive on the N1 from Gauteng. Maokeng is an area within Kroonstad, and is occasionally used as a synonym of the town itself. It is the second-largest commercial and urban centre in the Northern Free State (after Welkom), and an important railway junction on the main line from Cape Town to Johannesburg. ''Maokeng'' is Sesotho and means "place of the thorn trees (mimosa trees)". History Kroonstad was established in 1855 by the Irish pioneer Joseph Orpen, and was the first founded after the independence of the Orange Free State. While ' means "crown", this was in fact the name of a horse that had drowned in the nearby ford. Bloemfontein Celtic Football Club (simply known as Celtic) is a South African amateur football club based in Bloemfontein that competes in the ABC Motsepe League, the third tier of the South African football league system. Bloemfontein Celtic has a large fan base in the Free State. Its supporters were known as ''Siwelele''. The team plays its home matches in Siwelele Park Ground. 2013 Cyprus Cup
The 2013 Cyprus Women's Cup was the sixth edition of the Cyprus Women's Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Cyprus. It took place between 3–14 March 2013. Defending champions France cancelled their participation just after the UEFA Women's Euro 2013 draw, because of too many European opponents in the tournament. The tournament was won by England. Format The twelve invited teams are split into three groups that played a round-robin tournament. Groups A and B, containing the strongest ranked teams, are the only ones in contention to win the title. 2014 African Women's Championship
The 2014 African Women's Championship, the 11th edition of the tournament, was held in Namibia. This tournament, organized by the Confederation of African Football, was also a qualification tournament for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, with top three qualifying for the finals in Canada. It was played on 11–25 October 2014. The tournament marked the first participation of Namibia in the African championship. Also for the first time the defending champions, Equatorial Guinea, were not taking part after failing to win their last qualifying round match.
