Shinkai (album)
is the 5th studio album recorded by Japanese rock band Mr. Children, released in June 1996 under the record label Toy's Factory. After their breakthrough in 1994, Mr. Children yielded eight consecutive chart-topping singles. Three of those hits appeared on the album; "Na mo Naki Uta", "Hana (Mémento-Mori)", and "Machine Gun o Buppanase" — while others were reserved for their subsequent release ''Bolero'' in 1997. Kazutoshi Sakurai, the chief singer-songwriter of the band named the album's working title as , which was misheard by his band-mate as "Shinkai" (lit. "deep sea"). Sakurai, who favored the sound of the phrase, decided to change the title of the album. ''Shinkai'' was a sort of concept album, featuring more insightful compositions and harder-edged sound compared to the band's previous materials. Folk Rock

Takeshi Kobayashi
(born June 7, 1959), is a Japanese keyboardist, lyricist, composer, arranger, and record producer. History Kobayashi started his professional career in the late 1970s. After working in the backing bands for singers such as Yosui Inoue, Misato Watanabe, and Anri, he came into prominence as a musical collaborator for the Southern All Stars frontman Keisuke Kuwata's eponymous 1988 solo album. Although his own leader albums failed to receive public attention, Kobayashi garnered commercial success in collaboration as producer or songwriter with other artists. As an arranger of his own composition "Anata ni Aete Yokatta" co-written and performed by Kyōko Koizumi in 1991, Kobayashi won the 33rd Japan Record Awards for Best Arrangement category. ''Atomic Heart'' is the fourth studio album by Japanese rock band Mr. Children, released in September 1994. The album features two successful lead singles "Cross Road (song), Cross Road" and "Innocent World". Background In November 1993, the band released their fourth single "Cross Road". It provided the band with their first top-10 hit (peaked at #6) on the Japanese Oricon singles chart, and remained on the chart for about one year. Success of a single brought the band into prominence by 1994. Their follow-up single "Innocent World", which was featured in the TV advertisement for Coca-Cola's Aquarius (sports drink), sports drink Aquarius, came out in June 1994 and immediately went straight to the top on the chart. Bolero (Mr
Bolero is a genre of song which originated in eastern Cuba in the late 19th century as part of the trova tradition. Unrelated to the older Spanish dance of the same name, bolero is characterized by sophisticated lyrics dealing with love. It has been called the "quintessential Latin American romantic song of the twentieth century". Unlike the simpler, thematically diverse ''canción'', bolero did not stem directly from the European lyrical tradition, which included Italian opera and canzone, popular in urban centers like Havana at the time. Instead, it was born as a form of romantic folk poetry cultivated by a new breed of troubadour from Santiago de Cuba, the ''trovadores''.
