Shin Young-rok
Shin Young-Rok (born 27 March 1987 in Seoul) is a South Korean football forward who plays for Jeju United in the K-League. He usually plays as a centre forward or a striker. Shin is renowned for his strength in holding up the ball, excellent close control and dribbling skills, aerial ability, and power and accuracy of his shooting. Cha Bum-Kun, the most prolific South Korea striker of all time, has praised his precision in penalty area which he claims is better than his during his days as a footballer. He was the top scorer and MVP at the ''U-19 Qatar International Tournament'', held in 2006. He joined Bursaspor in January 2009. While at Bursaspor Shin scored his first goal in only his second full match for the club against Gençlerbirliği on 8 February 2009. The Korean Super Cup was the annual curtain-raiser to the South Korean football season from 1999 to 2006, and was contested between the champions of K League and Korean FA Cup. It was dropped from the South Korean football calendar in 2007. Korean FA Cup
The Korean FA Cup is a national football cup knockout competition of South Korea, held annually by the Korea Football Association (KFA). Before the FA Cup was established in 1996, two predecessor competitions named All Joseon Football Tournament (1921–1940) and Korean National Football Championship (1946–2000) were played, but the FA Cup did not succeed their records. The winner qualifies to the next season's AFC Champions League group stage. History The All Joseon Football Tournament was founded by the Joseon Sports Council in 1921, during Japanese rule in Korea.
