Shin Oonuma
is a Japanese anime director, animator, and storyboard artist. Oonuma's first employer in the anime industry was Office AO, but he is best known for his contributions to studios Shaft and Silver Link. Career Oonuma's first appearance in anime was as an in-between animator for '' Berserk)'' as a sub-contracting employee of Office AO. He continued working with Office AO, and in 2003 made his debut as an episode director on ''Nurse Me!'' and '' Triangle Hearts ~Sweet Songs Forever~'' under the series direction of Akiyuki Shinbo. The following year, he was invited alongside Tatsuya Oishi by Shinbo to join Shaft, and the three became known as Team Shinbo. According to Oonuma, Shinbo had invited him to Shaft due to Oonuma's understanding of digital compositing and processing, which he had showcased on ''Triangle Hearts''. is a Japanese Seinen manga, ''seinen'' manga series written and illustrated by Kou Yaginuma. The "realistic, Slice of life story, slice-of-life science fiction series" tells the story of a group of Japanese high school students training to become astronauts in the early 21st century after the country's first human spaceflight launch ends in a disaster that causes many civilian casualties. It was serialized in the seinen manga magazine ''Comic Flapper'' from September 2001 to August 2009 and was later published in 16 ''tankōbon'' volumes by Media Factory from January 2002 to October 2009. G-On Riders
is a Japanese anime series animated by TNK and Shaft. The "G" in "G-On" stands for "Glasses". Every female character in the series (including in one brief shot the Statue of Liberty) wears glasses, hence the title. The character designs are intended to both parody and glorify the meganekko fetish among many anime fans. Other fetishes the anime uses include maids, seifuku, nurses, lolitas, and nuns. Plot In the near future, most of the Earth has been conquered by aliens. Shinichiro Kimura
is a Japanese anime storyboard artist and director from Hiroshima Prefecture. His nickname is , a shortened version of his name. Kimura graduated from Osaka University of Arts with a major in oil painting. He enrolled in a fine arts college to get a teaching certificate in art. While in school, he was a member of CAS, an animation research society, and was classmates with animation director Takao Kado. After graduating, he worked at Studio World. Formerly an animator, he first worked as a director on an adult work, and has been working as a director ever since. is a Japanese anime series developed by J.C.Staff. It premiered in Japan on TBS on October 2, 2001, and ran for 24 episodes until its conclusion March 26, 2002. A two-episode OVA was also released for the series.
