Shimen County
Shimen County () is a northernmost county of Hunan Province, China, it is under administration of the prefecture-level city of Changde. Located on the northern margin of Hunan and the west of Changde, Shimen County is bordered to the south and southwest by Taoyuan, Zili and Sangzhi Counties, to the west by Hefeng County of Hubei, to the north by Wufeng County of Hubei, to the east by Songzi City of Hubei, Li and Linli Counties. Shimen is a mountainous county located on the Wuling Mountains, Mount Huping () which, at on the northwest of the county, is the highest point of Hunan. Shimen is also the home of the Tujia people, the descendant of Chinese ancient Ba People, the Tujia people shares 50.9％ of the population in the county. The county has an area of with 669,741 of registered population and 601,100 of permanent population (as of 2015). Wudu District
Wudu District () is a district and the political and cultural centre of Longnan, Gansu province, China. It borders the provinces of Shaanxi and Sichuan to the southeast. It has a population of 590,000, of which 110,000 live in the urban area. Located along the Bailong River near the borders with Sichuan and Shaanxi, it has been the site of many historic battles. A town has existed at the current county seat since at least 448. In 572 this town was named Wuzhou (武州), in 892 it was named Jiezhou. Since 1260 it was part of Shaanxi province, becoming part of Gansu in 1729. In 1913, Wudu County was established. The current district was established from Wudu County in 2004. Jingyuan County, Gansu
Jingyuan County () is a county in the east of Gansu Province. It is under the administration of Baiyin City, and consists of two separate tracts of territory to the north and south of Pingchuan District. The northern tract borders Ningxia to the north. The southern area consists of an irrigated area around the Yellow River and the northern area is semi-arid highlands. The name originated from 'settling down in the borderlands'. Jingyuan belonged to the Yiqu kingdom, later becoming part of the Qin state. The county was first established during the Han dynasty in 114 BC. During the Western Wei it was known as Huizhou (会州), the defensive outpost of Huining County. It was located at the battleground of the Northern Song Dynasty and the Western Xia. In 1730 the county got its current name. In 1928, Jingyuan was transferred from Shaanxi to Gansu.
