Wudu District
Wudu District () is a district and the political and cultural centre of Longnan, Gansu province, China. It borders the provinces of Shaanxi and Sichuan to the southeast. It has a population of 590,000, of which 110,000 live in the urban area. Located along the Bailong River near the borders with Sichuan and Shaanxi, it has been the site of many historic battles. A town has existed at the current county seat since at least 448. In 572 this town was named Wuzhou (武州), in 892 it was named Jiezhou. Since 1260 it was part of Shaanxi province, becoming part of Gansu in 1729. In 1913, Wudu County was established. The current district was established from Wudu County in 2004. The epicentre of the 1879 Gansu earthquake was located in the district. Wudu is one of the top tourist destinations in Gansu, receiving over 2 million tourists in 2016. A solutional cave, solution cave, or karst cave is a cave usually formed in the soluble rock limestone. It is the most frequently occurring type of cave. It can also form in other rocks, including chalk, dolomite, marble, salt beds, and gypsum. G75 Lanzhou–Haikou Expressway
The Lanzhou–Haikou Expressway (), designated as G75 and commonly referred to as the Lanhai Expressway () is an expressway in China that connects the cities of Lanzhou, Gansu, and Haikou, Hainan. When fully complete, it will be in length. It is one of the most important routes between Northwest China and the Southwest, and considered one of the developmental axes of Development of Western China. Route Gansu G75 was fully completed in Gansu with the opening of the Wudu- Weiyuan section on 1 January 2021. Starting from the south of Lanzhou, the expressway enters the New Qidaoliang tunnel (length ) through the Xinglongshan mountains, from where it follows the Tao River parallel to G212. Past Lintao, the route diverges from the Tao river valley and passes through hilly landscape through a couple of tunnels until exiting in the Wei River valley. China National Highway 345
China National Highway 345 runs from Qidong in Jiangsu to Nagqu in Tibet. Its exact length is not known yet, as parts of the route are still under planning, but once completed it will be around 3000 km long. It is one of the new trunk highways proposed in the China National Highway Network Planning (2013 - 2030). Route ;Jiangsu Construction on the section starting from Qidong commenced in May 2019. China National Highway 212
China National Highway 212 (G212) runs from Lanzhou in Gansu to Chongqing. It was originally 1302 kilometres in length. In the 2013 National Highway Network Planning it was extended to Longbang, Guangxi, on the border with Vietnam. After the extension, the length is circa . Between Lanzhou and the junction at Huichuan Town (35 or so km south of Lintao), G212 is concurrent with China National Highway 316. It is the only main road through Wen County, Gansu. As a result of the 2008 Sichuan earthquake and again during the 2020 China floods, the road was severely damaged and had to be repaired by rescue teams.
