Sherbert (Pillow Pal)
Pillow Pals were a line of plush toys made by Ty, Inc. during the 1990s. The toys were given their name because they were soft like a pillow, and were made with children in mind. Though many of them resembled certain Beanie Babies, those that did not share names with their Beanie Baby counterparts. Such Pillow Pals saw a decline in popularity in the late 1990s with the introduction of Beanie Buddies, which were also larger versions of various Beanie Babies. In January 1999, all Pillow Pals were redesigned, and their colors were changed. This line did not sell well, and was discontinued by Ty around the end of the year. Today, PillowPals LLC takes children's drawings and replicates them into 3D pillows. In North America, sherbet (), often referred to as sherbert () in the United States, is a frozen dessert made from sugar-sweetened water, a dairy product such as cream or milk, and a flavoring – typically fruit juice, fruit purée, wine, liqueur and occasionally non-fruit flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, or spice like peppermint. It is similar to, but distinct from sorbet, with the addition of dairy typically being the key differentiator. Rainbow sherbet is a presentation of sherbet where three flavors, each of a different color, are combined in one package, with the typical colors being green, magenta, and orange. It is a sweet Squash (drink), cordial, and usually served chilled. It can be served in concentrated form and eaten with a spoon or diluted with water to create the drink. Popular ''sharbats'' are made of one or more of the following: basil seeds, rose water, fresh rose petals, sandalwood, ''Aegle marmelos, bael'', hibiscus, lemon, Orange (fruit), orange, mango, pineapple, grape, ''falsa'' (''Grewia asiatica'') and chia seeds. ''Sharbat'' is common in homes of Iran, Turkey, Bosnia, Arab world, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India, and popularly consumed by Muslims when breaking their daily fasting, fast during the month of Ramadan.
