Shen Zulun
Shen Zulun ( Chinese: 沈祖伦; March 1931 – 27 February 2023) was a Chinese politician who served as Governor of Zhejiang Province. Biography A native of Ningbo, Zhejiang, Shen joined the Communist Party of China in April 1948. Before the formation of PR China, Shen served in Cixi County (now Cixi City) and Ningbo Region. From 1950, he became a secretary and vice section chief of secretary section in CPC Ningbo municipal committee. He also served as a personal secretary to Jiang Hua, the then first secretary of CPC Zhejiang committee. Shen was sacked in Cultural Revolution. In 1973, he entered the general office of CPC Zhejiang committee. From 1977 to 1987, Shen served as vice Party chief of Shaoxing County, vice director of Reform Commission of Shaoxing, the Party chief of Shaoxing City, vice director of Zhejiang Agricultural Commission, vice Party chief of Jiaxing, and the secretary general of Zhejiang provincial government. Zhejiang Province
Zhejiang ( or , ; , also romanized as Chekiang) is an eastern, coastal province of the People's Republic of China. Its capital and largest city is Hangzhou, and other notable cities include Ningbo and Wenzhou. Xue Ju () (died 618), formally Emperor Wu (武皇帝, "Martial"), was the founding emperor of a short-lived state of Qin at the end of the Chinese Sui dynasty, whose state was eventually destroyed by the Tang dynasty. He rose against Sui rule in 617 and soon controlled modern eastern Gansu, but while he had some successes against Tang forces, was not able to push toward the Tang capital Chang'an before dying of illness in 618. His son Xue Rengao inherited his throne but was soon defeated and killed by the Tang general Li Shimin, ending the state that Xue Ju established.
