Frank Salerno
Francesco Salerno (1962–7 April 2006), better known as "Frank the Bammer" was a Canadian biker. He was one of the victims of the Shedden massacre. Loner Salerno was born in Toronto, the son of a car dealer. Salerno's experienced troubles in his youth when his parents divorced. Salerno joined the Loners Motorcycle Club as an young man. Salerno had a criminal record, with more than thirty convictions for fraud and theft. Salerno once caused the Loners' clubhouse in Richmond Hill to burn down after falling asleep while he was supposed to be watching a fire. On 24 November 1998, Salerno robbed a Hy & Zel's drugstore in Niagara Falls, stealing 13 cartons of cigarettes. Frank Mather (born 1973) is a Canadian outlaw biker and gangster serving a life sentence for his role in the Shedden massacre of 7 April 2006. Career criminal Mather is a career criminal with a long criminal record for home invasions, having been convicted eight times and served three years in prison in his native New Brunswick. During one of his prison terms, he met Wayne "Weiner" Kellestine. In early 2006, Mather was on parole after being convicted for attempting to steal a truck and had been evicted from a motel in London, Ontario after failing to pay for his room. Facing homelessness, Mather contacted Kellestine and asked him to live at his farmhouse. Kellestine agreed provided that Mather serve as his bodyguard. Brett Gardiner
Brett Gardiner (born 19 June 1984) is a Canadian outlaw biker and gangster serving a life sentence for his role in the Shedden massacre of 2006. Bandidos Gardiner was born in Calgary and worked as an ironworker. His parents, David and Joan Gardiner, were Welsh immigrants who arrived in Canada in 1976. Gardiner is an avid reader and an amateur poet. Gardiner had moved to Winnipeg, where he was recruited into the Winnipeg chapter of the Bandidos by Dwight "Big Dee" Mushey. He lived as a boarder in Mushey's house along with Marcello "Fat Ass" Aravena. Like Aravena, Gardiner did not own nor know how to ride a motorcycle. Marcello Aravena
Marcello Aravena (born 11 April 1976) is a Canadian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, outlaw biker and gangster serving a life sentence in prison following his conviction on seven counts of first-degree murder and one count of manslaughter for his role in the Shedden massacre of 2006. MMA fighter Aravena was born in Chile, but grew up in Winnipeg. His IQ is extremely low as tests performed by police psychologists after his arrest in 2006 showed he had a vocabulary equivalent to that possessed by an eight year-old boy. Dwight Mushey (born 1968), better known as "Big Dee", is a Canadian outlaw biker, gangster and convicted murderer currently serving a life sentence for his role in the Shedden massacre of 2006. Early criminal career Mushey was born in Winnipeg to a family of Iranian and Filipino descent. Standing over 6'3 tall, he took up martial arts as a young man. Mushey worked as both a professional kickboxer and boxer, albeit not an especially successful one. Mushey had more success in taekwondo, which he had a second-degree black belt in. Julian Sher is a Canadian investigative journalist, filmmaker, author and newsroom trainer based in Montreal, Quebec. He was an investigative producer for ten years then a senior producer for five years with the CBC's '' The Fifth Estate''.
