Shebah Ronay (born 1972, London) is a British actress, known for her brief film and television career from 1989 to 1998, including, ''Reunion'' (1989), ''Hollyoaks'' (1995–1996) and ''The Man Who Cried'' (1993). She is married to artist Jonathan Yeo. They have two children. ''Reunion'' is a 1989 British dramatic film based on the 1971 novel of the same name by Fred Uhlman, directed by Jerry Schatzberg from a screenplay by Harold Pinter. It stars Jason Robards. The film was released in France under the title ''L' Ami Retrouvé'' and in Germany as ''Der wiedergefundene Freund''. The story is centred on the "enchanted friendship" of two teenagers in 1933 Germany. Jonathan Yeo (born 18 December 1970, in London, England) is a British artist who rose to international prominence in his early 20s as a contemporary portraitist, having painted Kevin Spacey, Dennis Hopper, Cara Delevingne, Damien Hirst, Prince Philip, Erin O'Connor, Tony Blair, and David Cameron among others. GQ has called him 'one of the world's most in-demand portraitists'. He was educated at Westminster School. His unauthorised 2007 portrait of George W. Egon Ronay
Egon Miklos Ronay (24 July 1915 – 12 June 2010) was a Hungarian-born food critic who wrote and published a famous series of guides to British and Irish restaurants and hotels in the 1950s and 1960s. These guidebooks are credited with raising the quality of British cuisine offered in public eating places. Ronay also championed foreign cuisine for British diners. Early life Born in Budapest, Austria-Hungary, in 1915, he was the son of a prominent restaurateur. With the onset of World War II, he was conscripted into the Hungarian Army and served with the occupying forces after the First and Second Vienna Awards in southern Slovakia and northern Transylvania. Edina Maria Ronay FRSA (born 8 January 1943) is an Anglo-Hungarian fashion designer and former actress. She is the daughter of food critic Egon Ronay and the mother of actress/writer Shebah Ronay.
