The 2013–14 Saudi Crown Prince Cup was the 39th season of the Saudi Crown Prince Cup since its establishment in 1957. This season's competition featured a total of 30 teams, 14 teams from the Pro League, and 16 teams from the First Division. For the first time, the Crown Prince Cup tournament was contested by 30 teams, having been expanded from the 16-team format used since 1991. Under the new format, last season's finalists received a bye to the Round of 16 while the remaining 28 teams entered at the preliminary stage. 2020–21 King Cup
The 2020–21 King Cup, or The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, was the 46th edition of the King Cup since its establishment in 1957. The tournament commenced on 16 December 2020 and concluded with the final on 27 May 2021. The number of teams was reduced from 64 to 16 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in Saudi Arabia. The competition was limited to the 16 teams participating in the 2020–21 Saudi Professional League. Al-Hilal are the defending champions after defeating Al-Nassr 2–1 in the final. Al-Hilal were eliminated by Al-Fateh in the round of 16. Al-Faisaly won their first title after a 3–2 win over Al-Taawoun in the final on 27 May 2021. As winners of the competition, Al-Faisaly qualified for the 2022 AFC Champions League group stage. The King Cup (sometimes spelled King's), officially known as The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Cup ( ar, كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين), is the Saudi Arabian football knockout cup competition, run by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. The cup was created in 1957 and was played until 1990. It was re-launched again in 2007 as ''King's Cup of Champions'', and was played by only the top 6 finishers of the Professional League plus the Crown Prince Cup and Federation Cup winners. Since 2014, it was renamed as ''King's Cup'', the competition returned to its roots by implementing the old format. 153 clubs have taken part in the tournament.
