Shaun Ley
Shaun Dominic Ley (born 14 June 1969) is a British journalist and newsreader for BBC News. A former regular presenter of ''The World This Weekend'' and ''The World at One'' on BBC Radio 4, he currently appears regularly on the BBC's domestic BBC News'' and international BBC World News channels, as well as on BBC Weekend News'' bulletins on BBC One. He also frequently hosts ''Dateline London'', and has presented a wide range of BBC programmes from ''HARDTalk'' to BBC Radio 4's '' PM'' and ''The World Tonight''. As of October 2021, Shaun Ley is a regular weekday evening presenter (20:00-21:00 & 22:30-23:00 & 23:30-00:00) on BBC News. He sometimes hosts the afternoon news (14:00-17:00) occasionally and was the last main presenter of ''Dateline London'', before it ended in October 2022. Lynton
Lynton is a town on the Exmoor coast in the North Devon district in the county of Devon, England, approximately north-east of Barnstaple and west of Minehead, and close to the confluence of the West Lyn and East Lyn rivers. Governance Lynton is part of the Lynton and Lynmouth electoral ward whose total ward population at the 2011 census was 1,647. ''The Happiness Patrol'' is the second serial of the 25th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in three weekly parts on BBC1 from 2 to 16 November 1988. The BBC Elstree Centre, sometimes referred to as the BBC Elstree Studios, is a television production facility, currently owned by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The complex is located between Eldon Avenue and Clarendon Road in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, England. This site was the first of several such complexes colloquially referred to as "Elstree Studios" located in the area. Originally created as a film studio in 1914, the site was converted for use as a television studio in 1960, becoming the main television production site for Lew Grade's ATV franchise for the ITV network. North Devon
North Devon is a local government district in Devon, England. North Devon Council is based in Barnstaple. Other towns and villages in the North Devon District include Braunton, Fremington, Ilfracombe, Instow, South Molton, Lynton and Lynmouth. The district was formed on 1 April 1974 as a merger of the Barnstaple municipal borough, the Ilfracombe and Lynton urban districts, and the Barnstaple and South Molton rural districts.
