Jonathon Tepes Sharkey (born John Albert Sharkey; April 2, 1964) is an American former professional wrestler, and has been a candidate in multiple elections for public office. Background Sharkey was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and joined the United States Army in 1981. Following his discharge on medical grounds in 1983, he studied at Kansas State University. He has lived in Minnesota and resides in Florida. Sharkey has three living children, and a fourth child who is now deceased. He married Oksana Shavaryn in 2016. Sir Seymour John Sharkey (10 July 1847 – 6 September 1929) was a physician at St Thomas' Hospital, London. Life Sharkey was born at Saint Peter, Jersey, the third son of Edmund Sharkey, M.D., and educated at Christ's Hospital. He won an open classical scholarship to Jesus College, Oxford, matriculating in 1866 and obtaining a first-class honours degree in natural science in 1870. He later obtained the degrees of MB (1875) and MD (1888). He won the Radcliffe Travelling Fellowship in 1873 and spent three years studying medicine in Berlin, Vienna and Paris before completing his medical training at St Thomas' Hospital, rising in 1890 to the position of full physician, remaining as consultant physician after his retirement in 1910. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 1885 and delivered their Goulstonian lecture in 1886 on nerve disease and their Bradshaw Lecture in 1906 on rectal alimentation. Paul Sharkey
Paul Sharkey (born 8 June 1974) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood in the Australian Football League (AFL) during the 1990s. Sharkey was only 16 when he came to Collingwood from Bendigo, after being secured with the 22nd pick of the 1990 AFL draft. He didn't make his league debut until 1994 and made ten appearances in total for the season, including a qualifying final against West Coast. A tall defender, he played just once in 1995 but added another ten games in 1996. He was traded to Hawthorn Football Club prior to the 1998 season, in exchange for Shannon Gibson. Patrick Sharkey (born ) is an American urban sociologist and criminologist. He has been Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs at Princeton University since 2019. He was formerly Professor and Chair of the Department of Sociology at New York University, with an affiliation at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Dominic "Nick" Sharkey (4 May 1943 – 8 February 2015) was a Scottish Association football, footballer who played for Sunderland A.F.C., Sunderland as a Striker (association football), forward. Club career Sharkey began his career with Sunderland where he made his debut on 9 April 1960 against Scunthorpe United F.C., Scunthorpe United in a 1–0 win at Roker Park. In total, he made 99 league appearances, scoring 51 goals for the club from 1960 to 1966.
