Taiyanggong Area () is an area and township on the north of Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. It borders Wangjing and Datun Subdistricts to the north, Jiangtai Township to the east, Maizidian, Zuojiazhuang and Xiangheyuan Subdistricts to the south, Heping Street and Xiaoguan Subdistrict to the west. Chaoyang District () is a core district of Beijing. An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons.
