Shannon Roy Welcome Warren (born 22 November 1988) is a Honduran football player, who currently plays for Chania. Club career Welcome started his career at Arsenal in his native Roatán, then played for F.C. Motagua before moving abroad to play on loan for Guatemalan outfit Heredia. He was dismissed by Motagua in December 2011 when he failed to turn up for training sessions. In 2011, he joined Necaxa but was suspended by the club for indiscipline in March 2012. In the summer of 2012, he was loaned to Vida. In 2013, he left Honduras to play in Greece. Roatán
Roatán () is an island in the Caribbean, about off the northern coast of Honduras. It is located between the islands of Utila and Guanaja, and is the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras. The island was formerly known in English as Ruatan and Rattan. It is approximately long, and less than across at its widest point. The island consists of two municipalities: José Santos Guardiola in the east and Roatán, including the Cayos Cochinos, further south in the west. Geography The island rests on an exposed ancient coral reef, rising to about above sea level. Offshore reefs offer opportunities for diving. Most habitation is in the western half of the island. Georgie Wilson Welcome Collins (born 9 March 1985) is a Honduran professional footballer who plays as a striker. Welcome is the only player to debut with the national side playing in the second level of Honduras. Club career Welcome started his career at Arsenal FC (Roatan) and was snapped up by Honduran giant F.C. Motagua in 2008. On 1 August 2010, Welcome travelled to Glasgow to begin a week-long unsuccessful trial with Scottish champions Rangers. In January 2011, Welcome was sent to AS Monaco on loan from Motagua. After an unsuccessful stint in Monaco, Welcome was signed by Mexican league club Atlas to a one-year contract. The transfer was announced on 20 June 2011. He then returned to Honduras, where he signed for Marathon ahead of the 2012 Clausura. In December 2013, Platense confirmed Welcome would join them as their new striker. The 2010–11 season in Honduran Liga Nacional was divided into two tournaments (Apertura and Clausura) and determined the 57th and 58th champions in the history of the league. Deportes Savio Fútbol Club, commonly known as Deportes Savio, is a professional Association football in Honduras, Honduran football club based in Santa Rosa de Copán.
