Shankar Oraon is an Indian footballer who has played for Mohun Bagan A.C. in the I-League as a forward. Career Prayag United On 2 April 2011 Oraon scored his first goal for Prayag United S.C. against Dempo, this was also Oraon's first professional game of his career. He then scored again in his second game of his career against Churchill Brothers Mohun Bagan After spending three years at Prayag United S.C. Oraon signed for Mohun Bagan A.C. He made his debut for Mohun Bagan in the I-League on 22 September 2013 against Bengaluru FC at the Bangalore Football Stadium in which he came on as a substitute for Adil Khan in the 79th minute as Mohun Bagan drew the match 1-1. IFA Shield
The IFA Shield is an annual football competition organized by the Indian Football Association. The IFA is the governing body of football in the state of West Bengal, came into existence in 1893. Named after the association, the IFA Shield tournament was started in the same year. It is the third oldest football tournament in India, after Durand Cup and Trades Cup, and the one of the oldest football competitions in the world. The royal houses of Patiala and Cooch Behar, A.A. Apcar of Armenian Club and J Sutherland of Dalhousie AC had financially contributed for the inception of the Shield. The coveted shield was designed by Walter Locke & Co. The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system. It is currently contested by 12 clubs across the country with the winners getting promotion to play in the premier division, the Indian Super League. The competition was founded in 2007 as the successor to the National Football League, with the first season starting in November 2007. 2013 IFA Shield
The 2013 IFA Shield was the 117th edition of the IFA Shield. The tournament this season was held from 4 March 2013 in West Bengal. This year also, the Indian Football Association announced that two foreign clubs would participate in the tournament, Costa Rican Primera División club Deportivo Saprissa and Bangladesh Premier League club Muktijoddha Sangsad. However on 4 March 2013 it was announced that Muktijoddha Sangsad would not participate in this tournament and instead current I-League club ONGC would take their place. Adil Ahmad Khan (born 7 July 1988), is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender or defensive midfielder for I-League 2 club Ambernath United Atlanta and the India national team.
