Shanghai Suburban Railway
Shanghai Metropolitan Area Intercity Railway System or Shanghai Suburban Railway System is a network of regional railways radiating or surrounding the city of Shanghai, China. It is a plan for the gradual implementation of a regional rail system across the metropolitan area. The system will eventually connect with Jiangsu Yangtze MIR and Hangzhou Greater Bay Area network. Shanghai (; , , Standard Mandarin pronunciation: ) is one of the four direct-administered municipalities of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The city is located on the southern estuary of the Yangtze River, with the Huangpu River flowing through it. Nangang Line (Shanghai)
The Bannan or Blue line (code BL) is a metro line of Taipei Metro in Taipei, Taiwan, with a total of 23 stations serving the districts of Nangang, Xinyi, Daan, Zhongshan, Wanhua, Banqiao and Tucheng. The line's name is a portmanteau of Banqiao and Nangang. The entire line runs underground. The excavation of tunnels using the cut-and-cover method resulted in large scale detouring of road traffic. Baojia Line
The baojia system () was an invention of Wang Anshi of the Northern Song dynasty, who created this community-based system of law enforcement and civil control that was included in his large reform of Chinese government ("the New Policies") from 1069–1076. History Imperial China The leaders of the baos were given authority to maintain local order, collect taxes, and organize civil projects. The idea of the system was that it would diminish the government's reliance on mercenaries, and that it would instead assign responsibility of law enforcement to these civil societies. Baojia regulations were issued centrally in 1548, during the Ming dynasty, but the system was not mandatory. Rather, the regulations were more like guidelines for officials who wished to deploy the system in their counties. Lianggang Express Line
Lianggang Express Line () is a commuter rail line currently under planning on the Shanghai Suburban Railway, and will be run by China Railway. The Lianggang Express Line is an express suburban railway between the Lingang New Area and Pudong Hub, Hongqiao Hub and Shanghai's main urban area. The plan published public review between April 29th to May 28th by the Shanghai Transportation Commission. The special plan (draft) was for the selection of the Shanghai City Line Lianggang Express Line (Pudong Hub-Lingang Industrial Park Station). It runs from Lingang Industrial Park in Pudong to Shanghai East railway station (mainline) or Pudong International Airport T3 Terminal (branch) in Pudong. The 26.3-kilometer express line with 8.8km branch is expected to shorten the travel time between Lingang and Pudong International Airport to under 15 minutes upon completion in 2024.
