Shang Rong (rhythmic Gymnast)
Shang Rong (Chinese: 尚蓉; Pinyin: Shāng Róng; born 12 February 2000 in Liaoning, China) is a Chinese individual rhythmic gymnast. Career Shang debuted her seniors in 2015 Season although she did not compete in a lot of international competitions. She did not make the list of the Chinese team to compete at the 2015 World Championships. In 2016 Season, Shang competed in her first FIG World Cup event at the 2016 Espoo World Cup where she finished 24th in the all-around. On April 21–22, Shang beat compatriot Liu Jiahui for an Olympics license in individual rhythmic gymnastics by finishing seventh amongst a top 8 selection of highest score for non qualified gymnasts at the 2016 Gymnastics Olympic Test Event held in Rio de Janeiro. The Women's rhythmic individual all-around competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics was held at the Arena Olímpica do Rio. The medals were presented by Alexander Zhukov, IOC member, Russia, and Nataliya Kuzmina, President of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee of the FIG, Russia. Competition format The competition consisted of a qualification round and a final round. The top ten gymnasts in the qualification round advanced to the final round. In each round, the gymnasts performed four routines (ball, hoop, clubs, and ribbon), with the scores added to give a total. Filippa Giordano (born 14 February 1974) is an Italian-born Mexican crossover singer. Biography Giordano was born in Palermo. The Puppini Sisters are an English close harmony vocal trio composed of Italian-born singer Marcella Puppini and English singers Kate Mullins and Emma Smith. Although the three are not related, the name was chosen in tribute to the Andrews Sisters. They are known for providing guest vocals on Michael Bublé's cover of " Jingle Bells". Robert Henry Arthur Wells (born 7 April 1962) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician best known for the musical ', which contains elements of rock, classical and boogie-woogie. Early life and career Wells was born in Stockholm. He attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm at the age of 7 in 1969 and four years later, at the age of 11, became the youngest person ever to attend the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is a British symphony orchestra based in London, that performs and produces primarily classic works. The RPO was established by Thomas Beecham in 1946. In its early days, the orchestra secured profitable recording contracts and important engagements including the Glyndebourne Festival Opera and the concerts of the Royal Philharmonic Society. After Beecham's death in 1961, the RPO's fortunes declined steeply. The RPO battled for survival until the mid-1960s, when its future was secured after a report by the Arts Council of Great Britain recommended that it should receive public subsidy. A further crisis arose in the same era when it seemed that the orchestra's right to call itself "Royal" could be withdrawn. David Christian Bongartz (born 4 September 1980), known by his stage name David Garrett, is a German classical and crossover violinist and recording artist. Early life When Garrett was four years old his father purchased a violin for his older brother. The young Garrett took an interest and soon learned to play. A year later, he took part in a competition and won first prize. By the age of seven, he studied violin at the Lübeck Conservatoire. Dario Marianelli (born 21 June 1963) is an Italian composer known for his frequent collaborations with director Joe Wright. Early life, education Marianelli was born in Pisa, Italy. He came from a musically inclined family and learned the piano at an early age. He studied piano and composition in Florence and London.
