Shane Firus
Shane Firus (born February 21, 1994) is a Canadian ice dancer. With his skating partner, Carolane Soucisse, he is the 2018 Four Continents silver medallist. They have finished fourth at the 2017 and 2018 Canadian Championships and represented Canada on the Grand Prix circuit and at the World Championships. Firus previously competed with Caelen Dalmer and Lauren Collins in the junior and senior ranks. Personal life Shane Firus was born on February 21, 1994, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He studied business and marketing at Georgian University. He is the brother of Canadian single skater Liam Firus. Career Early career Firus began learning to skate in 2001. He teamed up with Caelen Dalmer in May 2008. Dalmer/Firus were coached by Rod Mackie and Shae Zukiwsky before joining Megan Wing and Aaron Lowe in Burnaby, British Columbia. Ice Dancing
Ice dance (sometimes referred to as ice dancing) is a discipline of figure skating that historically draws from ballroom dancing. It joined the World Figure Skating Championships in 1952, and became a Winter Olympic Games medal sport in 1976. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Aaron Lowe
Aaron Lowe (born October 12, 1974) is a Canadian ice dancer. With partner and wife Megan Wing, he is a two-time Four Continents bronze medallist. Career Lowe was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He began in hockey at the age of seven and switched to figure skating when he was nine. He began skating with Megan Wing in 1986. They won six bronze medals and four silver medals at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships. In 2006, the duo competed in the Winter Olympics, where they finished 11th overall. Megan Wing
Megan Wing (born November 1, 1975) is a Canadian ice dancer. With partner and husband Aaron Lowe, she is a two-time Four Continents bronze medallist. Career Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Wing began skating at the age of five and took up ice dancing at age 14. She joined forces with Aaron Lowe in 1986. Liam Firus
Liam Firus (born July 2, 1992) is a Canadian retired figure skater. He is the 2016 Triglav Trophy champion and a three-time Canadian national medallist (silver in 2016, bronze in 2014–15). He competed at the 2014 Olympic Games. Earlier in his career, Firus won two bronze medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series.
