Shaiman Anwar
Shaiman Anwar Butt ( ur, ; born 15 March 1979) is a Pakistani-born cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. A powerful right-handed top-order batsman, he made his debut for the United Arab Emirates national side in December 2010, having previously represented Sialkot and Servis Industries in Pakistani domestic tournaments. In March 2021, Shaiman was found guilty of corruption and banned from all cricket for eight years. Personal life , Shaiman lived in Dubai with his wife and children, working as an administrative executive at a petroleum storage terminal in Al Quoz. His younger brother, Arsalan Anwar, also played at first-class level for Sialkot, but retired early to concentrate on his career. Sialkot ( ur, ) is a city located in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the capital of Sialkot District and the 13th most populous city in Pakistan. The National One Day Cup was the national domestic List A (one-day) cricket competition in Pakistan. Due to frequent reorganisations by the Pakistan Cricket Board, at different times there have been one or more competitions involving teams representing either regional associations or departments (or a mix of the two), during the same season, resulting in multiple domestic one-day champions in those seasons. The Patron's Trophy was a cricket competition that was held in Pakistan between 1960–61 and 2018–19 mainly among teams representing the government and semi-government departments, corporations, commercial organisations, business houses, banks, airlines, and educational institutions. Matches in the competition were afforded first-class status in most seasons until 2006–07, when the domestic first-class competition was reorganised and merged into the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup
The National T20 Cup is a men's professional domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Pakistan. Established in 2005, it is one of the world's oldest Twenty20 cricket leagues. It was the principal T20 competition in the country until 2016, when the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise tournament was introduced. Twenty20
Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level. A typical Twenty20 game is completed in about two and a half hours, with each innings lasting around 70 minutes and an official 10-minute break between the innings. Faisalabad Cricket Team
Faisalabad Cricket Team was one of the eight regional first-class cricket clubs, based in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Its limited overs team was called Faisalabad Wolves. Kit colours are White for first-class cricket matches and Green for one-day and 20/20 competitions. They lost their first-class status when they were relegated from the 2016–17 Pakistan Super League. Usman Mushtaq
Usman Mushtaq (born 5 November 1986) is a Pakistani-born cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He made his debut for the UAE in November 2015. He has represented the UAE at One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International levels. Before emigrating to the UAE, he played first-class cricket for Sialkot in Pakistan and also represented the Pakistan under-19s. Career in Pakistan Mushtaq was born in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan. He made his first-class debut for Sialkot in January 2003, aged 16, in a Quaid-i-Azam Trophy match against the Lahore Whites. Century (cricket)
In cricket, a century is a score of 100 or more runs in a single innings by a batsman. The term is also included in "century partnership" which occurs when two batsmen add 100 runs to the team total when they are batting together. A century is regarded as a landmark score for batsmen and a player's number of centuries is generally recorded in their career statistics. Scoring a century is loosely equivalent in merit to a bowler taking a five-wicket haul, and is commonly referred to as a ton or hundred.
