Shahrdari Arak Football Club (), commonly known as Shahrdari Arak, is an Iranian football club based in Arak, Markazi, that competes in the League 2. The club was founded as PAS Arak Football Club in 2001. Shahrdari Arak shares the same history as Aluminium Arak. Since 2015 Shahrdari Arak participate as an own club meanwhile Aluminium Arak plays in Persian Gulf Pro League. The football team plays their home games at the Imam Khomeini Stadium which has a seating capacity of 15,000. The club is owned and supported by the Municipality of Arak. History Establishment The club was founded as PAS Arak Football Club in 2001. They played their first year in Azadegan League and were relegated at the end of the season. Sanaye Arak In 2002 the club changed their name to Sanaye Arak Football Club. Although they did not participate in 2002–03 Iran 2nd Division they were able to play next season in Azadegan League. The Imam Khomeini Stadium (, ''Vârzeshgah-e Emam-e Xemini'') is a multi-use stadium in Arak, Markazi, Iran, with a 15,000 seating capacity. The stadium was opened in 2007 and is owned by the Iran Physical Education Organization. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League. Mansour Pourheidari
Mansour Pourheidari ( fa, منصور پورحیدری, 26 January 1946 – 4 November 2016) was an Iranian football player, coach and manager. He started his football career at Daraei, before joining Taj (currently known as Esteghlal) in 1965. He played ten years for Taj; between 1965 and 1975. Pourheidari returned to Daraei in 1975 to play his final career's two years at the club. He also played for Iran albeit earning three caps only. After retiring from playing football, Pourheidari started his coaching career, becoming assistant manager of Esteghlal. He was promoted to the first team manager in 1983. He was the head coach of the club for 9 years overall, managing them in 309 games. He is also the only Iranian who has won AFC Champions League as both player and coach. He was the Head Coach of Iran national football team in 1998 Asian Games where they won the first place and gold medal. He died on 4 November 2016 of cancer. Hossein Kazerani
Hossein Kazerani (born April 13, 1947 in Andimeshk, Iran) is a retired Iranian football player. He played most of his career for Pas Tehran. He was the captain and one of the key players of Pas winning the Iranian Takht Jamshid in 1977 and 1978. He played for the Iran national football team and was a participant at the 1978 FIFA World Cup.
