Shahar Shenhar
Shahar Shenhar is an Israeli-American Magic: The Gathering player. In the twenty-one years since the first Magic: The Gathering World Championship, he is the only person to have won the competition more than once, winning the tournament in 2013 and 2014. Magic: The Gathering Career Introduced to Magic: The Gathering in 2007 at age 14, Shenhar quickly picked up the game at a competitive level, and played his first Pro Tour in 2011, Pro Tour Paris. A 38th-place finish qualified him for the next Pro Tour, and later that season, in San Diego, he reached the top eight of a Grand Prix event for the first time. He ended up winning the event, beating Richard Bland in the final. Less than six months later, at Grand Prix Salt Lake City, Shenhar won his second Grand Prix title. Owen Turtenwald (born ) is a former American professional ''Magic: The Gathering'' player. He won a number of awards during his career, notably the 2010 Vintage World Championship and 2011 and 2015-16 Player of the Year. In 2016, he was inducted into the ''Magic: The Gathering'' Hall of Fame. He was briefly a member of the Magic Pro League in 2019 before being removed following sexual harassment accusations from women in the Magic community. Josh Utter-Leyton is an American Magic: The Gathering player. Perhaps most well known for his work with Team ChannelFireball, he was the American national champion in 2010 and 2013, and the Player of the Year for the 2012–13 season. He has reached the top 8 of six Pro Tours, losing to the eventual champion each time. Career Utter-Leyton started playing Magic in 1994, but remained a casual player until 2005, when he started playing Magic Online. He made his Pro Tour debut at Pro Tour Hollywood 2008, and although his Pro Tour finishes in 2008 and 2009 were unimpressive, he managed to remain qualified for all the events, and he was one of the original members of Team ChannelFireball. Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa (born September 29, 1987) is a Brazilian Magic: The Gathering player. In 2011, Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa became the youngest player to ever reach 300 lifetime Pro Points. He was elected into the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame in 2012 as the first player from South America, and has seventeen Pro Tour Top 8 finishes (with three wins among them), which puts him second for the most Pro Tour Top 8s of all time, and in 2020 Da Rosa won the world championship for the 2019 season. Tom Martell
Tom Martell (born May 7, 1982) is an American Magic: The Gathering player. He won Pro Tour ''Gatecrash'' in 2013. His other notable finishes include another Pro Tour top 8 at Pro Tour Paris 2011, as well as three Grand Prix wins. Career Martell qualified for a few Pro Tours in the early 2000s, but without putting up any major finishes; he disappeared from the professional scene, and quit playing Magic for some time. However, after finishing college and moving to New York, Martell was invited to play at Jon Finkel's apartment, where many of the best players in the area came to play.
