''Shahada'' is a 2010 German drama film directed by Burhan Qurbani. It was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. The film narrates the fates of three German-born Muslims in Berlin that collide as they struggle to find middle ground between faith and modern life in contemporary Western society. Burhan Qurbani ( fa, برهان قربانی) (born in Erkelenz on 15 November 1980) is a German film director, writer and actor of Afghan origin. His directing, writing, and acting works include ''Shahada'' (2010), ''20xBrandenburg'' (2010 TV documentary), and ''Illusion'' (2007 short film). His modern day adaption of Alfred Döblin's modern classic novel '' Berlin Alexanderplatz'' was selected for the main competition of the 2020 Berlin International Film Festival. Jacob Jensen (actor)
Jacob Jensen (29 April 1926 – 15 May 2015) was a Danish industrial designer best known for his work with Bang & Olufsen. Jensen designed numerous popular high-end consumer products, developing a functional minimalism style that formed a prominent part of the Danish modern movement. In 1958 he founded the ''Jacob Jensen Design Studio.'' Jensen designed for other brands including Alcatel, Kirk, Boform, General Electric, International Gift Corporation, JO-JO, Labofa, Rodenstock, Rosti (Rosti Mepal), and Stentofon. Ferenc Joachim (May 21, 1882 – September 16, 1964) was a Hungarian painter of portraits and landscapes in oil, watercolors and pastels on canvas, board and paper. He studied and painted in Budapest and Western Europe. Vedat Erincin (born 1957, Istanbul) is a German actor of Turkish origin. The co-founder of the Wuppertal-based Wupper-Theater and former head of the Arkadaş Theater, he is dedicated to intercultural theatrical work. His former wife is fellow actress Lilay Huser. Career Erincin came to Germany in 1978 and started a textile study here. In 1983 his first daughter, Pinar Erincin, was born. In addition, he had already directed plays in Turkish clubs.
