Shadow Squad
''Shadow Squad'' is a British TV series that ran from 1957-59 starring Peter Williams and George Moon. 179 episodes were made, of which only four survive. Network released the surviving episodes on DVD in 2011, along with the sole surviving episode of the spin-off, ''Skyport''. Both series were produced by Granada Television. Premise Criminal cases investigated by the Shadow Squad detective agency run by former Scotland Yard sleuth Don Carter, along with his trusty Cockney sidekick Ginger Smart. George Moon
George Moon (19 March 1909 – 17 December 1981) was an English stage, film and television actor. During the late 1950s he appeared as Ginger Smart in the television series ''Shadow Squad'' and its sequel ''Skyport''. Moon's largest television role came in 1977 when he played Tipping the butler in the short lived television series Lord Tramp alongside Hugh Lloyd and Joan Sims. His daughter is the actress Georgina Moon. Rex Garner
Rex Garner was a British born actor and director. He was born in 1921 in Wolverhampton, England. He died 17 May 2015 at the age of 94. Garner was survived by his seven children: Nicolas Garner, Lindsay Garner, Christopher Garner, Geraldine Raper (née Garner) Sally Garner-Gibbons, Kerry Garner, and Kim Garner, and his ex-wife Tammy Garner.
