Shatha Amjad Al-Hassoun ( ar, شذى أمجد الحسون; born 3 March 1981 in Casablanca, Morocco), better known as Shatha Hassoun ( ar, شذى حسون), is a Moroccan-Iraqi singer who rose to fame as the winner of the 4th season of the pan-Arab television talent show ''Star Academy Arab World''. She was the first Arab woman to win the competition. The Murex d'Or (also known as the Golden Murex award) is a Lebanon, Lebanese award created by two Lebanon, Lebanese physicians, Zahi and Fadi Helou to recognize achievements in the domain of art in Lebanon, the Arab world, Arab region and the world.
