Señorita Colombia 2019
Señorita Colombia 2019 was the 67th edition of the Miss Colombia pageant. It was held at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia on November 11, 2019. At the end of the event, Gabriela Tafur of Valle del Cauca crowned María Fernanda Aristizábal of Quindío as Señorita Colombia 2019-2020. Aristizábal was set to compete at Miss Universe 2020, but since June 2020, Natalie Ackermann gained ownership of the Miss Universe franchise of Colombia, where a new pageant would select the representative of Colombia to the Miss Universe pageant. The new organization did not allow Aristizábal to compete in Miss Universe 2020, thus barring Aristizábal to compete in the said pageant. On April 6, 2022, Aristizábal was appointed as Miss Universe Colombia 2022 by the Miss Universe Colombia Organization and represented Colombia at Miss Universe 2022, and concluded as one of the sixteen semi-finalists. María Fernanda Aristizábal
María Fernanda Aristizábal Urrea (born 19 June 1997) is a Colombian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Señorita Colombia 2019. Aristizábal is the first delegate from Quindío to ever be crowned Miss Colombia. She represented Colombia in Miss Universe 2022 and placing Top 16. Early life Aristizábal was born in Armenia, Quindío. Her father is Bernardo Alonso Aristizábal Franco and her mother is Bertha Lucía Urrea Posso. She is of Basque descent, from Spain and France. Aristizábal completed her elementary and high school education at the Catholic school Colegio Franciscano San Luis Rey in Armenia. She later graduated with a degree in social communication from Luis Amigó Catholic University in Medellin in July 2021. Miss Universe 2022
Miss Universe 2022 will be the 71st Miss Universe pageant, to be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on January 14, 2023. Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event. Contestants from 84 countries and territories will compete in this year's pageant. The competition will be hosted by Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo; Culpo last served as host during Miss Universe 2020, while Mai last served as backstage correspondent during Miss Universe 2014. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Zuri Hall will serve as backstage correspondents. This will mark the first time in a 70-year history to have an all-female presenting panel. ''Noticias Caracol'' (until 9 October 2007 ''Caracol Noticias'') is the name for all the national newscast from the news division of Caracol Televisión which carries the same name. It is broadcast four times on weekdays and twice on weekends. In January 2015 the new director is Juan Roberto Vargas and the second director is Alberto Medina Lopez. Before becoming a network, Caracol Televisión produced the morning newscast ''7:30 Caracol'' in the mid-1990s. Miss Universe 2020 was the 69th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States on May 16, 2021. At the end of the event, Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa crowned Andrea Meza of Mexico as Miss Universe 2020. It is Mexico's first victory in 10 years, and the third victory of the country in the pageant's history. Gabriela Tafur
Gabriela Tafur Náder (born 7 July 1995) is a Colombian lawyer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Colombia 2018. She represented Colombia at Miss Universe 2019 and placed in the top five. Early life and education Tafur was born in Cali on 7 July 1995 to parents Octavio Tafur and Olga Liliana Náder. She is of Lebanese descent (on her mother's side); her grandfather was originally from Chartoun, Aley District in Lebanon, and immigrated to Colombia during the Lebanese Civil War. After graduating from Colegio Bolivar in Cali, Tafur moved to Bogotá to study law at the University of Los Andes, where she graduated cum laude. Miss Colombia (Formally ''Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Colombia'', English: ''"National Beauty Contest of Colombia"'') is the national beauty pageant organization in Colombia. The current Miss Colombia is Sofía Osío Luna of Atlántico, who was crowned on 14 November 2022.
