Seza Kutlar Aksoy
Seza Kutlar Aksoy (born 1945, Gaziantep) is a Turkish children's author residing in Istanbul, Turkey. She is the younger sister of writer Onat Kutlar. Biography Seza Kutlar Aksoy was born in Gaziantep, Turkey. She is a member of the Turkish section of the International P.E.N., TYS (Turkish Writers' Union), and a member of the administrative board of the Turkish Association of Children and Youth Publications. She is nominated as the 2011 Turkey candidate for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, the world's largest children's and youth literature award, and the second largest literature prize in the world.. Seza Kutlar Aksoy's stories have been published in children’s literature magazines including ''Redmouse'' and ''Milliyet Kids''. Her radio play, ''Adventures of Memo'' was broadcast by the Voice of Turkey ( Foreign Broadcast of Turkish Radio and Television). Gaziantep
Gaziantep (), previously and still informally called Aintab or Antep (), is a major city and capital of the Gaziantep Province, in the westernmost part of Turkey's Southeastern Anatolia Region and partially in the Mediterranean Region, approximately east of Adana and north of Aleppo, Syria. The European Commission (EC) is the executive of the European Union (EU). It operates as a cabinet government, with 27 members of the Commission (informally known as "Commissioners") headed by a President. The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT; Turkish : ) is the national public broadcaster of Turkey, founded in 1964. TRT was for many years the only television and radio provider in Turkey. Before the introduction of commercial radio in 1990, and subsequently commercial television in 1992, it held a monopoly on broadcasting. More recent deregulation of the Turkish television broadcasting market produced analogue cable television.
