7 Car Pileup was a groove-based rock band from Tempe, Arizona. It has heavy roots in old-school funk and a small hint of jazz. The band consists of Mark Mason (vocals/guitar), Jess Pruitt (bass), and Mike Vigil (drums). Their name is taken from the TV show ''Scrubs''. History 7 Car Pileup self-produced their debut album in a home studio in a house they all lived in. The self-titled album was released in late 2008. The band recorded an EP with Music Producer Bob Hoag at Flying Blanket studios in Mesa Arizona in March 2009. Crash Kings is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2006. The members are vocalist–keyboardist Antonio "Tony" Beliveau, his brother, bassist Mike Beliveau, and drummer Tom Roslak. Cage the Elephant is an American rock band formed in 2006 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. They moved to England, U.K. and settled in London in 2008, shortly before their self-titled first album was released. The band currently consists of Matt Shultz (vocals), his older brother Brad Shultz (rhythm guitar), Nick Bockrath (lead guitar), Matthan Minster (guitar, keyboards), Daniel Tichenor (bass), and Jared Champion (drums). Bob Hoag
Bob Hoag is an American record producer, songwriter and musician based in Mesa, Arizona. In 2005, he was recruited to be the pianist and keyboardist for American rock band The Ataris. Career Hoag wrote songs for his group, The Go Reflex, as well as his previous group, Pollen. His main band, The Go Reflex, includes Kevin Scanlon from the now defunct band, Pollen (Hoag played the drums and wrote the songs). In The Go Reflex, Hoag once again writes the songs but also sings and plays piano as well as drums. He also played drums and recorded records for the power-pop/garage group The Breakup Society, as well as The Love Me Nots. ''Scrubs'' (stylized as '' crubs') is an American sitcom created by Bill Lawrence that aired from October 2, 2001, to March 17, 2010, on NBC and later ABC. The series follows the lives of employees at the fictional Sacred Heart Hospital, which is a teaching hospital. The title is a play on surgical scrubs and a term for a low-ranking person because at the beginning of the series, most of the main characters are medical interns. Groove (music)
In music, groove is the sense of an effect ("feel") of changing pattern in a propulsive rhythm or sense of " swing".
