Setenil Prize
The Setenil Award ( es, Premio Setenil, links=no) is a literary prize for the best short story book published in Spain. Convened annually since 2004 by the municipality of Molina de Segura in Murcia, it is one of the most prestigious in the country. As of 2018 it confers an economic endowment of €10,000, and the city council publishes a reprint of the winning work. Each winner has a bench dedicated to him or her with a plaque in Molina de Segura's Paseo de Rosales. In its 12th edition (2015), a micro-story book, written by Emilio Gavilanes, was awarded for the first time in the history of the contest. This recognized the strength and prestige of the microfiction genre. Molina De Segura
Molina de Segura is a municipality of Spain in the autonomous community and province of Murcia. It is located 10 km from the provincial capital, Murcia. It borders the towns of Las Torres de Cotillas, Alguazas, Lorquí, Ulea, Archena, Abarán, Blanca, Murcia and Fortuna. It has the fourth largest population in the region after Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca, with over 60,000 inhabitants. It is located 10 km north of the capital. The N-301 highway, that runs from Madrid to Cartagena, passes through it. The town has a line of walls dating to the Almohad era (11th-13th centuries). José María Merino

Julio Llamazares (born March 28, 1955) is a Spanish author born in Boñar, Vegamián, León Province. Biography Julio Llamazares is a poet, novelist and a prolific essayist and journalist. ''For the musician of the same name, see María Dueñas (violinist)'' María Dueñas Vinuesa (1964) is a Spanish writer and professor. Life María Dueñas Vinuesa was born in Puertollano in 1964. She earned a licentiate degree in English Philology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in 1987 and a Master of Arts in Romance and Classical Languages from Michigan State University (MSU) in 1989. She moved to Cartagena in the 1990s. While preparing for her doctoral degree, she worked as teacher at the Military Base of Los Alcázares. Juan Jacinto Muñoz-Rengel (born 1974, in Málaga, Spain) is a Spanish writer. He studied philosophy and is the author of the essay 'A History of Lying'. ''El Mundo'' (; ), before ''El Mundo del Siglo Veintiuno'', is the second largest printed daily newspaper in Spain.
