Juan Jacinto Muñoz Rengel
Juan Jacinto Muñoz-Rengel (born 1974, in Málaga, Spain) is a Spanish writer. He studied philosophy and is the author of the essay 'A History of Lying'. He's also well known in his native country for his short stories and his novels, including ''El asesino hipocondríaco (The Hypochondriac Hitman)'' and ''El gran imaginador (The Great Imaginator, 2017 Celsius Festival National Book Award)''. His work has been translated into English, French, Italian, Greek, Finnish, Turkish, Arabic and Russian, and published in more than a dozen countries. Biography Muñoz-Rengel obtained his doctorate in Philosophy, and has taught in both Spain and the UK. Málaga
Málaga (, ) is a municipality of Spain, capital of the Province of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Andrés Neuman
Andrés Neuman (born January 28, 1977) is a Spanish- Argentine writer, poet, translator, columnist and blogger. The son of Argentine émigré musicians, he was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to a mother of French and Spanish descent and a father of Eastern European-Jewish descent. He spent his childhood in Buenos Aires, before going into exile with his family to Granada, Spain. The stories of his European ancestors and family migrations, his childhood recollections and the kidnapping of his paternal aunt during the military dictatorship, can be read on his novel ''Una vez Argentina''. He has a degree in Spanish Philology from the University of Granada, where he also taught Latin American literature. He holds both Argentine and Spanish citizenships. Setenil Award
The Setenil Award ( es, Premio Setenil, links=no) is a literary prize for the best short story book published in Spain. Convened annually since 2004 by the municipality of Molina de Segura in Murcia, it is one of the most prestigious in the country. As of 2018 it confers an economic endowment of €10,000, and the city council publishes a reprint of the winning work. Each winner has a bench dedicated to him or her with a plaque in Molina de Segura's Paseo de Rosales.
