This is a list of minor fictional characters from the science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''. Characters here are members of the crew, or passengers, on the starship ''Voyager'' as it makes its way home through unknown space during the course of the series. The minor characters generally appear at most in several episodes (out of 172), sometimes in episodes that largely concern them. Of these characters, the only ones who joined the ship during its travels are the four alien children (Azan, Icheb, Mezoti, and Rebi) taken from a Borg cube. Chakotay
Chakotay is a fictional character who appears in each of the seven seasons of the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''. Portrayed by Robert Beltran, he was First Officer aboard the Starfleet starship USS ''Voyager'', and later promoted to Captain in command of the ''USS Protostar'' in '' Star Trek: Prodigy''. The character was suggested at an early stage of the development of the series. He is the first Native American main character in the '' Star Trek'' franchise. This was a deliberate move by the producers of the series, who sought to provide an inspiration as with Uhura in ''Star Trek: The Original Series'' for African Americans. To develop the character, the producers sought the assistance of Jamake Highwater who falsely claimed to be Native American. Shattered (Voyager Episode)
"Shattered" is the 157th episode of the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager'', aired on the UPN network. It is the 11th episode of the seventh season. This series follows the adventures of the Federation starship '' Voyager'', isolated tens of thousands of light-years from home. Maquis (Star Trek)
In the ''Star Trek'' science fiction franchise, the Maquis are a 24th-century paramilitary organization-terrorist group (like the World War II Maquis in the French Resistance and the Spanish Maquis that emerged in the Spanish Civil War). The group is introduced in the two-part episode "The Maquis" of the television series ''Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'', building on a plot foundation introduced in the episode " Journey's End" of '' Star Trek: The Next Generation'', and appear in later episodes of those two series as well as '' Star Trek: Voyager''. The Maquis story debuted when three ''Star Trek'' television shows running from 1987 to 2001 took place in the same fictional science-fiction universe at the same time in the future (the 2360s–2370s). Tom Paris
Lieutenant Thomas Eugene "Tom" Paris is a fictional character in the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager'' and is portrayed by Robert Duncan McNeill. Paris is the chief helmsman, as well as a temporary auxiliary medic, of the USS ''Voyager'', a Starfleet ship that was stranded in the Delta Quadrant by an alien entity known as the Caretaker. Initially recruited by Captain Kathryn Janeway as a Starfleet "observer" on ''Voyager'''s first mission into the Badlands, Paris was reinstated as a Starfleet officer by Janeway and took on the role of being ''Voyager'''s helmsman after the original helmsman was killed during the ship's turbulent displacement from the Alpha Quadrant. Robert Nesta Marley (6 February 1945 – 11 May 1981; baptised in 1980 as Berhane Selassie) was a Jamaican singer, musician, and songwriter. The Holodeck is a fictional device from the television franchise ''Star Trek'' which uses "holograms" (projected light and electromagnetic energy which create the illusion of solid objects) to create a realistic 3D simulation of a real or imaginary setting, in which participants can freely interact with the environment as well as objects and characters, and sometimes a predefined narrative. In several series, holodecks are an amenity available to the crew of starships. In the series ''Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'', a similar device is referred to as a holosuite, operated by the owner of the space station's bar, Quark, who rents them out to customers. Repression (Voyager Episode)
"Repression" is the 150th episode of the science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager'', and the fourth episode of the seventh (and final) season of the series. The storyline revisits the potential for Starfleet and Maquis conflict explored in " Worst Case Scenario" at the end of season three. A series of attacks against former Maquis crew members baffles the Voyager senior staff. This episode explores mind control triggered by a subliminal message and the loyalties of crew members. The friendship between Commander Tuvok and Captain Janeway ultimately overcomes a fanatic's ability to invoke repressed conditioning. A recurring theme is Tuvok's "hunches", which he can neither explain nor ignore. Another feature of this episode is the Vulcan mind meld being used to force or invoke uncharacteristic behaviour. The Borg are an alien group that appear as recurring antagonists in the ''Star Trek'' fictional universe. The Borg are cybernetic organisms (cyborgs) linked in a hive mind called "the Collective". Seven of Nine (born Annika Hansen) is a fictional character introduced in the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''. Portrayed by Jeri Ryan, she is a former Borg drone who joins the crew of the Federation starship ''Voyager''. Her full Borg designation was Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero One. While her birth name became known to her crewmates, after joining the ''Voyager'' crew she chose to continue to be called Seven of Nine, though she allowed "Seven" to be used informally.
