Maquis (Star Trek)
In the ''Star Trek'' science fiction franchise, the Maquis are a 24th-century paramilitary organization-terrorist group (like the World War II Maquis in the French Resistance and the Spanish Maquis that emerged in the Spanish Civil War). The group is introduced in the two-part episode "The Maquis" of the television series '' Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'', building on a plot foundation introduced in the episode "Journey's End" of '' Star Trek: The Next Generation'', and appear in later episodes of those two series as well as '' Star Trek: Voyager''. The Maquis story debuted when three ''Star Trek'' television shows running from 1987 to 2001 took place in the same fictional science-fiction universe at the same time in the future (the 2360s–2370s). Jeri Taylor
Jeri Taylor (born June 30, 1938) is a television scriptwriter and producer, who wrote many episodes of the '' Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager'' series. Early life She is an alumna of Indiana University, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. She also received her M.A. in English from California State University, Northridge, in 1966. USS ''Voyager'' (NCC-74656) is the fictional ''Intrepid''-class starship which is the primary setting of the science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''. Caretaker (Voyager Episode)
"Caretaker" is the series premiere of the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''. It was first broadcast as a double-length episode on January 16, 1995, as the first telecast of the fledgling UPN network. It was later split into two parts for syndication, but released in its original one-episode format on DVD and streaming services. Set in the 24th century, the series follows the adventures of the Starfleet and Maquis crew of the starship USS ''Voyager'' after they are stranded in the Delta Quadrant far from the rest of the Federation. Martha Hackett (born February 21, 1961) is an American actress. She is known for her portrayal of Seska in thirteen episodes of the television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''. B'Elanna Torres is a main character in ''Star Trek: Voyager'' played by Roxann Dawson. She is portrayed as a half-human half-Klingon born in 2346 on the Federation colony Kessik IV. Robert Beltran
Robert Adame Beltran (born November 19, 1953) is an American actor, known for his role as Commander Chakotay on the 1990s television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''. He is also known for stage acting in California, and for playing Raoul Mendoza in the 1982 black comedy film ''Eating Raoul''. Chakotay is a fictional character who appears in each of the seven seasons of the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: Voyager''. Ro Laren is a fictional character appearing on a recurring basis in the fifth, sixth, and seventh seasons of the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: The Next Generation''.
