Serghei Alexeev (born 31 May 1986) is a Moldovan Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward. He also holds Russian citizenship as Sergei Viktorovich Alekseyev (russian: Сергей Викторович Алексеев). Career On 3 March 2009, Norwegian champions Stabæk Fotball, Stabæk announced that Alexeev would attend a week-long trial with the club. On 25 June 2009 he signed with Swiss team FC Aarau on a three-year contract. He signed at Kaposvári Rákóczi FC in summer 2011. During the 2012–13 season, he was released from Kaposvári Rákóczi FC and signed with FC Yenisey Krasnoyarsk, Yenisey. On 31 January 2012, he signed at Maccabi Netanya F.C., Maccabi Netanya. Tiraspol or Tirișpolea ( ro, Tiraspol, Moldovan Cyrillic: Тираспол, ; russian: Тира́споль, ; uk, Тирасполь, Tyraspol') is the capital of Transnistria (''de facto''), a breakaway state of Moldova, where it is the third largest city. The Zimbru Stadium () is a football-specific stadium in Chișinău, Moldova, completed in May 2006 with a capacity of 10,400 people, corresponds to all norms required by UEFA and FIFA for national and international matches. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Zimbru Chișinău and the Moldova national football team. Kaposvári Rákóczi FC is a football club in Kaposvár, Hungary. Their home stadium is Stadion Kaposvár Rákoczi. The team is named after Francis II Rákóczi, a Transylvanian prince and national hero and they are also often referred to be the nickname ''Somogyiak'', referring to Somogy County, where the team plays. Moldova National Football Team
The Moldova national football team ( ro, Echipa națională de fotbal a Moldovei) represents Moldova in international football and is controlled by the Moldovan Football Federation, the governing body for football in Moldova. Moldova's home ground is Zimbru Stadium in Chișinău and their head coach is Serghei Cleșcenco. Shortly before the break-up of the Soviet Union, they played their first match against Georgia on 2 July 1991. Two of their three best results in the 1990s came during the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 1996, with wins over Georgia (1–0) in Tbilisi and Wales (3–2) in Chișinău.
