Sergei Lascenko
Serhiy Lashchenko (Ukrainian: Сергій Лащенко; 21 June 1987 – 8 April 2015), also spelled as Sergii Lashchenko and Sergei Lascenko, was a Ukrainian kickboxer. He was a K-1 and Superkombat Heavyweight. Lashchenko won the Superkombat Tournament Championship at SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix 2011 Final, stopping Ismael Londt with punches to the head in the first round and becoming the first Superkombat World Grand Prix champion in the process. In his prime he was considered one of the best heavyweight kickboxers in the world, with a career-high ranking at #6 in the world in the LiverKick.com rankings. Career 2006-2008 Lascenko began his kickboxing career in 2006, mostly fighting under Muay Thai rules. After becoming the Ukrainian Heavyweight Muay Thai Champion in 2007, he went on to win The Honor of Soldier tournament in Moscow, Russia later that year. Split Decision
A split decision (SD) is a winning criterion in boxing, most commonly in full-contact combat sports, in which two of the three judges score one particular competitor as the winner, while the third judge scores for the other competitor. A split decision is different from a majority decision. A majority decision occurs when two judges pick the same competitor as the winner, and the third judge scores the contest a draw (tie). The official result remains the same in both split and majority decisions, but the margin of victory is greater in a majority decision and less in a split decision. Brice Guidon
Brice Guidon (born July 16, 1985), also known as ''"Nectar"'', is a French Muay Thai kickboxer. He is the W.P.M.F. European Heavyweight and World Super Heavyweight Muaythai Champion, and the 2011 United Glory World Series runner-up. He has competed in the GLORY, K-1, It's Showtime and SUPERKOMBAT promotions. Sebastian Ciobanu (born March 17, 1985) is a Romanian Super heavyweight kickboxer fighting in the K-1 and SUPERKOMBAT promotions. K-1 World Grand Prix
K-1 World Grand Prix, also known as the K-1 World GP, is an elimination kickboxing tournament that has been held annually since 1993 by the K-1 organization. Each year, K-1 holds various 16-men, 8-match grand prix style tournaments throughout the world to determine which 16 fighters will compete in the K-1 World GP. This tournament has had nine different winners with Ernesto Hoost and Semmy Schilt each winning four times. Match-ups Usually combatants of the quarter-finals of a 16-man 8-match tournament are paired by drawing. In the case of the Final in the Tokyo Dome it is widely different. The whole event is combined with a ceremony and a press conference. The process looks like a lottery show in the beginning with all the fighters pulling a ball from a glass bowl. Zabit Samedov ( az, Zabit Səmədov, russian: Забит Самедов, born July 21, 1984) is an Azerbaijani kickboxer and muay thai fighter. He is the 2012 K-1 World Grand Prix Finalist, when he lost to Badr Hari in the quarter-finals by unanimous decisions. Samedov is also a former It's Showtime 95MAX World Championship challenger.
