Ivan Sabanov ( sr-Cyrl, Иван Сабанов; born 25 June 1992) is a Serbian tennis player who formerly represented Croatia. He has won one ATP doubles title and 28 ITF doubles titles. 2021 ATP Cup
The 2021 ATP Cup was the second edition of the ATP Cup, an international outdoor hard court men's team tennis tournament held by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). It was held with 12 teams at Melbourne Park in Australia, from 2 to 7 February 2021. It was originally supposed to take place with 24 teams in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney from 1 to 10 January 2021, but was changed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following a case of COVID-19 in the tournament's quarantine hotel, all matches scheduled for 4 February have been suspended. Team Serbia was the defending champion, but got eliminated in the group stage. Team Russia won the tournament, defeating Italy 2–0 in the final. The Serbian Billie Jean King Cup team represents Serbia in Billie Jean King Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Tennis Federation of Serbia. They will compete in 2019 Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group I at Venue 1 in Bath, United Kingdom. From 5 June 2006 team is playing under the name of Serbia. Team reached the 2012 final after beating Belgium and Russia in away ties and lost to Czech Republic in Prague in their first Fed Cup final. Serbia Davis Cup Team
The Serbian men's national tennis team represents Serbia in the Davis Cup and the ATP Cup, both tennis competitions. Since June 2006, the team has played under the name of Serbia, following the split of Yugoslavia. Serbia won the Davis Cup title for the first and only time in 2010, defeating France with 3:2 in the final as host nation. The team was a runner-up in 2013, when they were defeated by the Czech Republic with 2:3 in the final in Belgrade. 2020 ATP Cup
The 2020 ATP Cup was the first edition of the ATP Cup, an international outdoor hard court men's team tennis tournament held by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Serving as the opener for the 2020 ATP Tour, it was the first ATP team tournament since the last edition of the World Team Cup in 2012. It was held on 3–12 January 2020 at three venues in the Australian cities of Brisbane, Perth, and Sydney. Serbia won the tournament, defeating Spain 2–1 in the final. Background On 1 July 2018, ATP director, Chris Kermode announced that he had plans to organize a men's team tennis tournament which came after the Davis Cup changed their format six months earlier.
