The Seoul Open is a defunct Grand Prix and ATP Tour affiliated men's tennis tournament played from 1987 to 1996. It was held at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center in Seoul in South Korea and played on outdoor hard courts. The 1996 KAL Cup Korea Open was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center in Seoul in South Korea and was part of the World Series of the 1996 ATP Tour. Lars Rehmann
Lars Rehmann (born 21 May 1975) is a former professional tennis player from Germany. Career Rehmann was a successful junior player, winning the Boys' Doubles at the 1993 Australian Open, with countryman Christian Tambue. They defeated the American pairing of Scott Humphries and Jimmy Jackson 6–7, 7–5, 6–2. In the same year he was also the junior single and doubles champion at Germany's national championship and also reached the final of the doubles at the 1993 Ansett Australian Indoor Championships. Greg Rusedski
Gregory Rusedski (born 6 September 1973) is a British and Canadian former tennis player. He was the British No. 1 in 1997, 1999 and 2006, and reached the ATP ranking of world No. 4 for periods from 6 October 1997 to 12 October 1997 and from 25 May 1998 to 21 June 1998. In 1997, he was the US Open finalist, which led to him receiving the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award and the ITV Sports Champion of the Year Award. Jörn Renzenbrink (born 17 July 1972) is a retired professional tennis player from Germany. Career A right hander, Renzenbrink had his best Grand Slam performance in the 1994 US Open, when he made it into the fourth round. He started his campaign with a straight sets victory over South African Grant Stafford, followed by a four-sets defeat of Morocco's Karim Alami and then a win over Italian Andrea Gaudenzi. In the fourth round he met Jonas Björkman and took him to five sets, but lost. Michael Jeremy Bates (born 19 June 1962) is a British former professional tennis player. He was ranked UK number 1 in 1987 and from 1989 to 1994. He reached a career-high Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP world ranking of 54 from 17 April 1995 to 23 April 1995. Todd Andrew Woodbridge, OAM (born 2 April 1971) is an Australian former professional tennis player and current sports broadcaster with the Nine Network. Woodbridge is best known for his successful Doubles partnerships with Mark Woodforde (nicknamed "The Woodies") and later Jonas Björkman. Shuzo Matsuoka
is a retired Japanese professional tennis player, sports commentator, and entertainer. A former Wimbledon quarter-finalist, Matsuoka won one singles title during his career, in Seoul in 1992. In the same year, he reached a career-high ranking of world No. 46. Professional career Matsuoka turned professional in 1986. Jeffrey Gail Tarango (born November 20, 1968) is a retired American tennis player. He was a top-ten doubles player and a runner-up at the 1999 French Open men's doubles tournament. He is now the Director of Tennis at the Jack Kramer Club, which is just south of Los Angeles. In 2018, he was the tournament director of a $30,000 men's California championships.
