Seiminlen Doungel (born 3 January 1994), also known as Len Doungel, is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Indian Super League club Jamshedpur. Career East Bengal Born in Saikul, Manipur, Doungel started his career in the youth team of JCT before joining East Bengal of the I-League in 2011. During his first season with the club Doungel played only a few times before making his international cup debut for East Bengal in the AFC Cup on 9 May 2012 against Kazma. He started that match and played 72 minutes before being substituted off as East Bengal lost 2–1. The 2013–14 I-League (known as the ''Airtel I-League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the seventh season of the I-League, the top-tier Indian professional league for football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 21 September 2013, and ended on 28 April 2014. Churchill Brothers were the defending champions, having won their second I-League title in the previous season. Indian Arrows (formerly known as Pailan Arrows) was an Indian developmental football club that competed in the I-League. The club was formed by the All India Football Federation in 2010, with a main goal of nurturing young Indian football talents. The 2012–13 I-League was the sixth season of the I-League, the Indian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 6 October 2012 and finished on 12 May 2013 with Churchill Brothers crowned champions in matchday 25. Dempo S.C., Dempo were the defending champions, having won their third I-League title the 2011–12 I-League, previous season. On 29 December 2012, Mohun Bagan were barred from competing in the I-League for 2 years following a decision taken by the I League core committee. This was because they failed to turn up in the second half of the match against East Bengal F.C., East Bengal because of crowd trouble.
