Seku Conneh
Seku Conneh (born 10 November 1995) is a Liberian professional footballer who plays as a forward. Career Youth Born in Voinjama, Liberia, and raised in the Netherlands, Conneh began his youth development across several development academies and youth clubs, including Ajax and Almere City. Club Fortuna Sittard and Oss Conneh began his professional career in the Netherlands playing for Fortuna Sittard and Oss of the Eerste Divisie for a season each scoring a total of 11 goals from 45 appearances. Bethlehem Steel Ahead of the 2016 USL season, Conneh joined the newly formed Bethlehem Steel, the USL affiliate of the Philadelphia Union. His first season was limited by injury but managed 2 goals in 18 appearances for Steel. Voinjama
Voinjama is a small city that serves as the capital of Lofa County, Liberia and is located in the hilly, far northern part of the country near the Guinean border. As of the 2008 national census, the population stood at 26,594. Before the Liberian civil war it was a busy crossroads town, with a large weekly market. The population was principally from the Lorma and Mandinka people, Mandingo tribes, with other ethnic groups from surrounding areas also present. It boasted a number of schools, including the public Voinjama Multilateral High School, as well as Saint Joseph's Catholic school under the direction of Sister Joan Margaret Kelly, and private schools run by Swedish missionaries and other groups. 2016 USL Season
The 2016 USL season was the sixth season of the United Soccer League and the twenty-second season of USSF sanctioned Division III play organized by the United Soccer Leagues. On August 6, 2015, the league announced that the season would consist of 30 games rather than 28 games played from 2013–2015. This was the first increase in the number of games since the league went from 24 games per season in 2012 to 28 games in 2013. The league expanded from 24 to 29 teams in 2016. Six franchises were officially announced by the league: Swope Park Rangers, Orlando City B, Rio Grande Valley FC, FC Cincinnati, Bethlehem Steel FC, and San Antonio FC. The Austin Aztex were on hiatus for the 2016 season, due to stadium availability issues, but planned to return in 2017 pending construction of a new, soccer-specific stadium. Frank Yallop
Frank Walter Yallop (born 4 April 1964) is a British-Canadian professional soccer coach. Yallop is currently the head coach and sporting director of USL Championship side Monterey Bay FC. He played 13 years in England for Ipswich, including the club's first three seasons in the Premier League. He also played in Major League Soccer (MLS) for the Tampa Bay Mutiny, and earned 52 caps for the Canada men's national soccer team. He spent a further 13 years as coach in MLS for San Jose Earthquakes, LA Galaxy, and Chicago Fire, as well as 3 years coaching the Canadian men's national team.
