Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tiu
Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tiu (SK Bukit Tiu) is a primary school local to the village of Bukit Tiu and surrounding areas. It is a part of the public national school system offering education for pre-schoolers and students from Year 1 to 6. The school also provides special education for students with special needs and learning difficulties. The intake ranges around 350 every year. In 2009, enrollment was 345 with 185 male students and 160 female students. Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tiu is staffed with 29 teachers. Facilities The school consists of several buildings over the original site and the new section. Upon completion of the new site, the operational buildings will be migrated to the new section of the school. This section includes two blocks of four-storied buildings, a canteen, a new field, and a multi-purposed enclosed court. Temenggong or Tumenggung ( Jawi: تمڠݢوڠ; ''Temenggung'', Hanacaraka: ꦠꦸꦩꦼꦁꦒꦸꦁ; ''Tumenggung'') is an old Malay and Javanese title of nobility, usually given to the chief of public security. Responsibilities The Temenggong is usually responsible for the safety of the monarch (raja or sultan), as well as overseeing the state police and army. Machang is one of the ten districts in the state of Kelantan, Malaysia. Kadet Remaja Sekolah Malaysia (Malay for ''Malaysia School Youth Cadet Corps'') is a scout-like movement organised by the Government of Malaysia as a youth organisation. History Kadet Remaja Sekolah was founded by Muhammad Thani Bin Sha'aban at SM Raja Abdullah, Jalan Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. Bendahara ( Jawi: بنداهارا) is an administrative position within classical Malay kingdoms comparable to a vizier before the intervention of European powers during the 19th century. A bendahara was appointed by a sultan and was a hereditary post. The bendahara and the sultan shared the same lineage. S̲h̲āhbandar ( fa, شهبندر, , Harbourmaster), was an official of the ports in Safavid Persia and one also known on other shores of the Indian Ocean. The Shahbandar (Port Master) was in charge of the traders and the collection of taxes. The office of shahbandar first appeared in Persia, and from there spread throughout the Indian Ocean basin. Laksamana
The Laksamana ( Jawi: ) is a position within the armed forces, similar to the position of admiral in Malay sultanates and in present-day countries like Indonesia and Malaysia. Since South East Asia was part of Indosphere of Greater India since earlier, during and after the Hinduised Srivijaya empire, Hindu titles based on Sanskrit were used. The word Laksamana originated from ''Lakshmana'', a figure in the Hindu epic of Ramayana.
