Sekhar Basu
Sekhar Basu (20 September 195224 September 2020) was an Indian nuclear scientist who served as the chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission of India, Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). He also served as the Director of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), the Project Director of Nuclear Submarine Program and later as the Chief Executive of the Nuclear Recycle Board at BARC. He was a recipient of India's fourth highest civilian honor Padma Shri in 2014. He is credited for his efforts in building the nuclear reactor for India's first nuclear powered submarine INS Arihant, nuclear waste recycling plants in Tarapur Atomic Power Station, Tarapur and Kalpakkam, and the India-based Neutrino Observatory, Indian Neutrino Observatory in Theni, Tamil Nadu. Krishna Kulasekaran (born 14 February 1978) credited as Krishna is an Indian actor who mainly appears in Tamil cinema. He is the younger brother of Tamil film director Vishnuvardhan. Early life Krishna's father is film producer K.K.Sekar (Pattiyal Sekar) and his brother is noted film director, Vishnuvardhan. The award was given for Tam Tam's contribution to health and public service in the British Caribbean island of Grenada.
