''Sehar'' (''English: The morning'') is a 2005 Indian crime drama film directed by Kabeer Kaushik, starring Arshad Warsi and Mahima Chaudhry in the lead roles with Sushant Singh and Pankaj Kapur in supporting roles. Based on real-life incidents and individuals, the film depicts organized crime in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India, and how the State Police worked to tackle it. It shows the turbulent journey of Ajay Kumar, a newly appointed 31-year-old SSP of Lucknow, played by Arshad Warsi, instrumental in bringing together a group of committed police officers under the aegis of Special Task Force. Shri Prakash Shukla
Shri Prakash Shukla was an Indian killer active during the 1990's mainly in the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). He was killed on 22 September 1998 in an encounter with the UP police's Special Task Force (India), Special Task Force. Arshad Warsi
Arshad Warsi (born 19 April 1968) is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films. He is the recipient of several awards including a Filmfare Award from five nominations and is noted for acting in varied film genres. Before making his acting debut, also served as an assistant director to Mahesh Bhatt in ''Kaash'' (1987) and also choreographed a song in ''Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja'' (1993).
