Seindah Rembulan
''Seindah Rembulan'' (''As Beautiful as the Moon'') is a 1980 Indonesian film directed by Syamsul Fuad. It features Iis Sugianto, Sys NS, Chrisye, and Lydia Kandou in a story about a singer working to support her family. It spawned a soundtrack album. Plot A pop music singer (Iis Sugianto) must perform to help her family, including her ailing father. Meanwhile, her boyfriend (Sys NS) and another couple (Chrisye and Lydia Kandou) also sing. Production ''Seindah Rembulan'' was directed by Syamsul Fuad and featured songs written by Rinto Harahap. Sys NS and Iis Sugianto were cast in the leading roles, while Lydia Kandou was cast as another leading woman. Haryo Heroe Syswanto Ns. Soerio Soebagio (18 July 1956 – 23 January 2018), better known as Sys NS, was an Indonesian radio personality and politician. Biography Early life and music career Sys was born in Semarang, Central Java, on 18 July 1956. In the late 1960s he established an underground radio station with his elder brother. In 1970 Sys joined Prambors FM in Jakarta as a DJ and broadcaster. In 1975 Sys was chosen as Indonesia's best DJ. In 1976 he and fellow Prambors employee Mochamad Noor came up with the idea for a teenage song-writing competition. For one song, "Lilin-Lilin Kecil", written by James F. Lydia Kandou
Lydia Ruth Elizabeth Kandou or better known as Lydia Kandou (born in Jakarta, Indonesia on February 21, 1963) is an Indonesian actress and model of mixed Dutch, Filipino and Minahasan descent. Biography Kandou was born in Jakarta on 21 February 1963. She is of mixed Manado and Dutch descent. Kandou first found work as a model. When 16 years old, she was invited to act by director Imam Tantowi. She made her feature film debut in Has Manan's ''Wanita Segala Zaman''. During the next five years she acted in over 20 films, including several directed by Nyak Abbas Akup. These included a role as the singer Chrisye's love interest in Syamsul Fuad's ''Seindah Rembulan'' and several films with the comedy troupe Warkop. Hajji Chrismansyah Rahadi (; 16 September 1949 – 30 March 2007), born Christian Rahadi (), better known by his stage name Chrisye (), was an Indonesian progressive pop singer and songwriter. In 2011 ''Rolling Stone Indonesia'' declared him the third-greatest Indonesian musician of all time. ''Gita Cinta dari SMA'' (''Love Song in High School'') is a 1979 Indonesian film directed by Arizal and starring Rano Karno and Yessi Gusman. Plot Galih (Rano Karno) and Ratna (Yessi Gusman) are two high school students who excel at everything they do; they are popular and receive good grades. Soon they begin falling in love. Jockie Soerjoprajogo (; Perfected Spelling: Yockie Suryoprayogo; 14 September 1954 – 5 February 2018) was an Indonesian musician and songwriter. Jockie began his musical career while a junior high school student in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. After working with bands in Jakarta and Surabaya, in 1973, he joined with Ahmad Albar, Donny Fattah and Ludwig Leeman to form God Bless; he would remain with this band intermittently until the 2000s. Guruh Soekarnoputra
Muhammad Guruh Irianto Sukarnoputra (born 13 January 1953) is a member of Indonesia's People's Representative Council and an artist. He is the youngest son of Indonesia's first president, Sukarno with his third wife, Fatmawati, and the brother to former Indonesian president Megawati Sukarnoputri.
