Sein Stine
Sein Stine ( my, စိန်စတင်း, born Tin Aung, 9 January 1949 – 3 November 2019) was a Burmese Hsaing waing musician of the late twentieth and the early twenty-first century. He was one of the three hsaing musicians who have been awarded the title of Alinkar Kyawswa. Life Sein Stine was born to Mahn Delone and Naw Aye Chan at Danubyu Township, Ayeyarwady Region in 1949. Danubyu Township
Danuphyu Township ( my, ဓနုဖြူမြို့နယ်) is a township of Maubin District in the Ayeyarwady Region of Burma (Myanmar). Danubyu Township is known as the death place of the general Maha Bandula at Danubyu Fort effectively ending the First Anglo-Burmese War by forcing the Burmese to surrender to the British. The Township consists of 1 city, 16 wards, 63 village groups and 450 villages and spans over the Irrawaddy River. The Township is named after its capital, Danubyu, which is split into 16 wards. Alinkar Kyawswa
Alinkar Kyawswa ( my, အလင်္ကာကျော်စွာ) is the highest national honor of recognition of an individual for their artistic skills by the government of Myanmar. From 1949 to 2022, there were about 57 recipients of this award in Myanmar. There are only over 20 recipients from post-independence parliamentary governments to post-2011 Union governments. In 2022, under the caretaker government formed by the Tatmadaw, 25 people were awarded in March and 8 people were awarded in April. This is the first time in history that many people have been awarded at the same time. Shwe Man Tin Maung's son Nyunt Win was awarded in March 2022, making them the first father and son who received Alinkar Kyawsaw. The ''hsaing waing'' ( my, ဆိုင်းဝိုင်း, ; also spelt ''saing waing''), commonly dubbed the Burmese traditional orchestra (မြန်မာ့ဆိုင်း), is a traditional Burmese folk musical ensemble that accompanies numerous forms of rituals, performances, and ceremonies in modern-day Myanmar (Burma). Win Myint
Win Myint ( ; born 8 November 1951) is a Burmese politician who served as the tenth president of Myanmar from 2018 to 2021. He was removed from office in the 2021 Burmese coup d'état. He was the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Myanmar from 2016 to 2018. He also served as a member of parliament in the House of Representatives (Pyithu Hluttaw) from 2012 to 2018. Win Myint was viewed as an important ally and placeholder for State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, who served as the actual head of government but was constitutionally barred from the presidency.
