John Seiffert
John Wesley Seiffert (9 September 1905 – 10 January 1965) was an Australian politician and a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1941 until his death in 1965. He was a member of the Labor Party (ALP), but stood at an Independent Labor candidate at the 1950 state election. Early life Seiffert was born in Goulburn, New South Wales, and was the son of a gardener. He was educated to elementary level and worked as a prison warder. As a youth, he was a keen sportsman, and was an Australian amateur cycle champion as well as a founder of the New South Wales Country Rugby League. He joined the ALP in 1931, and was an alderman in the Goulburn Municipal Council from 1934 to 1937. State parliament Seiffert was elected to the parliament as the Labor member for Monaro at the 1941 state election, defeating the incumbent Country Party member William Hedges by less than 200 votes. Marjorie Allen Seiffert
Marjorie Allen Seiffert (February 15, 1885 – January 1, 1970) was an American poet and winner of the 1919 Levinson Prize for Poetry. She used several pseudonyms over the course of her career, including Angela Cypher for some of her lighter verse and Elijah Hay for poems she wrote as part of the Spectrist hoax. Family and Education Marjorie Allen was born in Moline, Illinois to Minnie Florence (Stephens) Allen, whose father was president of the Moline Plow Company, and Frank Gates Allen, a well-to-do businessman. She graduated from Smith College in 1906 and then returned to her hometown. In 1910, she married Otto Seiffert, and they had two children, Allen and Helen. Chase Seiffert (born August 12, 1991) is an American professional golfer. Seiffert played college golf at Florida State University, where he was a two-time All-ACC selection. As an amateur, Seiffert became the first person in the history of the Florida State Golf Association to ever capture their triple crown; the Amateur, the Florida Open and the Amateur Match Play Championships all in the same year. During the 2016–17 season, Seiffert played three PGA Tour events by Monday qualifying. He Monday qualified for the 2018 Travelers Championship and finished T-9. In addition to winning $189,000, the finish generated enough non-member FedEx Cup points for him qualify for the 2018 Web.com Tour Finals. Maximilian Seiffert (9 February 1868 – 15 April 1948) was a German musicologist and editor of Baroque music. Biography Seiffert was born in Beeskow an der Spree, Germany, the son of a teacher. He was first educated at the Joachimsthal Gymnasium, in Berlin, where he studied under Philipp Spitta, and then at the University of Berlin where he received a Ph.D. in 1891 for his dissertation '' J. Günther Seiffert
Günther Seiffert (18 October 1937 – 11 November 2020) was a German racing driver. He made one attempt at a World Championship Formula One event, entering the 1962 German Grand Prix with a Lotus run by Wolfgang Seidel's team. The car was shared with Seidel himself, but they failed to qualify it. Seiffert also participated in several non-Championship Formula One races during 1962–63, mostly for Seidel's team. He generally qualified at the back of the grid, and when he finished races, it was usually also at the back of the field. He drew attention to himself at the 1962 Lavant Cup when he collided with John Surtees while being lapped very early in the race, but his best showing was in his last Formula One event, where he finished seventh, albeit 12 laps down, at the 1963 Austrian Grand Prix. Peter Seiffert (born 4 January 1954) is a German tenor. Biography Born in Düsseldorf, Seiffert studied at the Musikhochschule in Düsseldorf and made his debut in 1978 at the Deutschen Oper am Rhein, Düsseldorf/ Duisburg. Josepha von Heydeck (1748–1771), was the royal mistress of Charles Theodore, Elector Palatine, from 1765 until 1771. Biography Josepha Seyffert was the issue of a palatinate govermental secretary Seyffert and Maria Franziska Reichard. In 1765, after the death of Françoise of Parckstein, the previous mistress of the elector, she attracted the attention of elector Charles Theodore at the opera in Mannheim and was made his mistress.
