Janet Seeley
Janet Seeley (June 2, 1905 – December 20, 1987) was an American college professor. She was a member of the faculty at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, William Smith College from 1932 to 1971, and was director of the school's physical education department and dance program. A gymnasium on campus, and two scholarships, are named for Seeley. Early life and education Janet Seeley was born in Connecticut and raised in Rye, New York, the eldest daughter of Frank Earle Seeley and Mabel Martin Seeley. Philanthropist Frederick Townsend Martin and socialite Bradley Martin were her mother's uncles. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1927, and earned a master's degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in 1932. Tim Seeley is an American comic book artist and writer known for his work on books such as '' Grayson'', '' Nightwing'', '' G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero'', ''G.I. Stuart William Seeley
Stuart William Seeley (June 23, 1901 – November 4, 1978) was a noted American electrical engineer, best known for inventing the Foster–Seeley discriminator and SHORAN. Seeley was born in Chicago, Illinois, and received his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State College in 1925. From 1915 to 1924 he was an amateur radio experimenter and commercial operator, then worked at General Electric 1925–1926, Sparks Withington 1926–1935, and the RCA License Laboratory, starting in 1935. In 1936, Seeley invented the Foster–Seeley discriminator with D. E. Foster, publishing details in 1937. It helped reduce the cost of FM radio receivers to a level comparable to AM receivers. In 1938, while attempting to remove "ghost" signals from an experimental television system, Seeley realized that he could measure distances by time differences in radio reception. Robert Thomas Seeley
Robert Thomas Seeley (born February 26, 1932, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, United States–died November 30, 2016, in Newton, Massachusetts) was a mathematician who worked on pseudo differential operators and the heat equation approach to the Atiyah–Singer index theorem. Seeley did his undergraduate studies at Haverford College, and earned his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1959, under the supervision of Alberto Pedro Calderón. He taught at Harvey Mudd College and then in 1962 joined the faculty of Brandeis University. In 1972 he moved to the University of Massachusetts Boston; he retired as an emeritus professor.

Robert Seeley, also Seely, Seelye, or Ciely, (1602-1668) was an early Puritan settler in the Massachusetts Bay Colony who helped establish Watertown, Wethersfield, and New Haven. He also served as second-in-command to John Mason in the Pequot War. Early life Robert Seeley was born in Bluntisham-cum-Earith, Huntingdonshire, England in 1602. Richard Seeley (born April 30, 1979) is a Canadian former ice hockey defenceman. In 2018, he was named the general manager of the Ontario Reign in the American Hockey League by the Reign's NHL affiliate, the Los Angeles Kings. Playing career Seeley was drafted in the 6th round, 137th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft but never played in the NHL. He played mainly for the Lowell Lock Monsters, Manchester Monarchs, Bridgeport Sound Tigers and the Norfolk Admirals. He also had a spell in the East Coast Hockey League with the Trenton Titans. Mabel Seeley (née Hodnefield; March 25, 1903 – June 9, 1991) was an American mystery writer. Early life Seeley was born March 25, 1903, in Herman, Minnesota. Her family moved to Saint Paul, Minnesota, St. Paul in 1920 where she attended Mechanic Arts High School. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota.
