Seda Mawathe
''Seda Mawathe'' ( si, සේද මාවතේ) is a 2020 Sri Lankan Sinhala action film directed by Harsha Udakanda and co-produced by director himself with Nishantha Jayawardena, Pushpa Silva and lead actor Anuj Ranasinghe for HU Creations and Hiruna Films. It stars Anuj Ranasinghe in lead role with newcomer Harshi Anjumala whereas Cletus Mendis and Damitha Abeyratne made supportive roles. The media screening of the film was held at the Tharangani Cinema Hall of the National Film Corporation. The screening of the film halted due to prevailing COVID-19 pandemic in Sri Lanka. However, the film halls were reopened from 27 June 2020 and the film was re-released in film theaters. Cletus Mendis
Gammada Liyanage Cletus Paulinus Mendis, popularly as Cletus Mendis (born July 17, 1949 as ක්ලීටස් මෙන්ඩිස් Sinhala) is a Sri Lankan actor, mainly works in cinema and television. He has received a number of awards for portraying villains at the Sarasaviya, OCIC, Raigam, and Presidential film festivals. His elder brother, Vinicius Mendis died in October, 2019 at the age of 75. Sedhavi Mudiyanselage Damitha Buddhini Abeyratne Bandara (born September 14, 1975), popularly as Damitha Abeyratne, is a Sri Lankan film and teledrama actress. Biography She schooled at Samudradevi Balika Vidyalaya, Nugegoda and St. Paul’s Girls School, Milagiriya. Career In 1987, she made her acting debut as an eight-year-old in the teledrama ''Passe Gena Manamali'' and later appeared in her first film ''Meeharaka'' directed by I. Hewawasam in 1993.
