Secret Adventures
Secret Adventures is an American Christian television series created by George Taweel and Rob Loos. It was released between 1993 and 1995 as direct-to-video VHS tapes spanning seven half-hour episodes. The series concerns teenager Drea Thomas, who has an overactive imagination. She baby-sits Rebecca and Matt, and they learn moral lessons in their everyday lives. At least once per episode, they go on a "secret adventure" and are magically transformed into animated characters. There, they usually learn an important life lesson relevant to the framing real-world plot. Premise The series takes place in Hampton Falls, New Jersey, roughly half-way between New York and Philadelphia, as a fictional stand-in for Princeton, New Jersey. John Tesh
John Frank Tesh (born July 9, 1952) is an American pianist and composer of pop music, as well as a radio host and television presenter. He hosts the ''Intelligence for Your Life'' radio show. In addition, since 2014, he has hosted ''Intelligence for Your Life TV'' with his wife Connie Sellecca. Peter Baldwin (director)
Peter DuBois Baldwin (January 11, 1931 – November 19, 2017) was an American actor and director of film and television. Baldwin started his career as an actor, employed as a contract player at Paramount Studios. He played Johnson in the film ''Stalag 17'' and Lieutenant Walker in '' Little Boy Lost'', both made in 1953. In 1962 he played the role of murderer Tony Benson in the ''Perry Mason'' episode, "The Case of the Melancholy Marksman", and appeared in the 1970 Italian thriller ''The Weekend Murders''. StarToons International, LLC. was an animation studio located in the Chicago, Illinois area. It was founded by Jon McClenahan, an animator who had previously worked for other studios like Hanna-Barbera. The Boy Who Cried Wolf
The Boy Who Cried Wolf is one of Aesop's Fables, numbered 210 in the Perry Index. From it is derived the English idiom "to cry wolf", defined as "to give a false alarm" in e''Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable'' and glossed by the ''Oxford English Dictionary'' as meaning to make false claims, with the result that subsequent true claims are disbelieved. The fable The tale concerns a shepherd boy who repeatedly fools villagers into thinking a wolf is attacking his town's flock. When an actual wolf appears and the boy calls for help, the villagers believe that it is another false alarm, and the sheep are eaten by the wolf. In a later English-language poetic version of the fable, the wolf also eats the boy. Focus on the Family (FOTF or FotF) is a fundamentalist Protestant organization founded in 1977 in Southern California by James Dobson, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The group is one of a number of evangelical parachurch organizations that rose to prominence in the 1980s.
