Sebago Granite
The Sebago Granite is a Carboniferous aged granite that appears in southern Maine. The formation covers around 400 square kilometers in area, and intruded into the surrounding rock approximately 325 million years ago. Sebago Lake is the deepest and second-largest lake in the U.S. state of Maine. The lake is deep at its deepest point, with a mean depth of .
