; ''Season of the Dead'' is the first full length studio album by the death metal band Necrophagia. It was released in February 1987 by the label New Renaissance Records. It is the only album to feature Joe Blazer on drums, Larry Madison on guitar, and Bill James on bass. It was also the band's last album until 1995, and last studio album until 1998. The album was released a few months before Death's ''Scream Bloody Gore'' debut album, which makes it one of the first full-length death metal albums and consequently, valued by collectors. New Renaissance Records is an American record label founded in 1984 by Ann Boleyn, who also is the lead singer of the group Hellion and is credited with coining the term speed metal. History New Renaissance Records was created by Ann Boleyn after her band Hellion had a No. 6 record on the British Music Charts (as reported in ''Sounds'' and ''Kerrang!''), but was unable to find an American deal. ''Scream Bloody Gore'' is the first studio album by American death metal band Death, released on May 25, 1987, by Combat Records. It is considered by many to be "the first true death metal record". Chuck Schuldiner, the band’s founder and leader, performed guitar, bass and vocals, and composed all tracks on the album. John Hand is noted in the album's credits as playing rhythm guitar, though this was incorrect and Hand was only in the band for a short period and never performed or recorded on the album. This is also the only Death album to feature drummer Chris Reifert, who had joined for the ''Mutilation'' demo, and the only one of the band's albums to not be recorded at Morrisound Recording. ''Night on Bald Mountain'' (russian: Ночь на лысой горе, translit=Noch′ na lysoy gore, links=no), also known as ''Night on the Bare Mountain'', is a series of compositions by Modest Mussorgsky (1839–1881).
