Sean Marshall (actor)
Sean Edwin Marshall is an American former actor and singer who started acting in 1971 at the age of six. Early life and education Marshall was born the Canoga Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. In 1978, he left the entertainment industry to pursue an education at Notre Dame College Prep. In 1983, he received a congressional appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York. In 1987, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in marine transportation and an officer's appointment in the United States Maritime Service. Career He was in more than ten movies including ''The Deadly Trackers'', '' The New Adventures of Heidi'' and the Disney animated short film ''The Small One'', but he is most commonly known for playing the protagonist Pete in the 1977 Disney movie '' Pete's Dragon'' for which he earned a gold record. Canoga Park, Los Angeles
Canoga Park is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region of the City of Los Angeles, California. Before the Mexican–American War, the district was part of a rancho, and after the American victory it was converted into wheat farms and then subdivided, with part of it named Owensmouth as a town founded in 1912. It joined Los Angeles in 1917 and was renamed Canoga Park on March 1, 1931, after Canoga, New York. ''Code R'' is an American action-adventure television series that aired on CBS from January 21 to June 10, 1977. ''Code R'' focuses on the emergency services (police, fire, and ocean rescue) of the California Channel Islands. The series starred James Houghton, Martin Kove and Tom Simcox and ran for a single season of thirteen episodes. Synopsis Simcox was cast as Walt Robinson, the island police chief. ''ABC Weekend Special'' is a weekly 30-minute American television anthology series for children that aired Saturday mornings on ABC from 1977 to 1997, which featured a wide variety of stories that were both live-action and animated.
